OF COURSE he is. The players need to be focused week to week, a head coach needs vision. I think sports is 90% mental and 10% physical ability. Coaches should use psychology during the game (calling TO right before field goal attempt) and throughout the season to give advantages to their team (running up points to rev up Colts for the forthcoming Bills game - a divisional opponent). So, YES, I think you are right.

Here's why: I saw only the first drive at beginning of game today and then left house to run errands. Out for 3 hours. Came home and I knew game was still on b/c friend was texting me. The fact that I turned the game on late in the 4rth quarter and became emotionally attached ... THAT'S why they lost. Had I not switched on the TV and just let them play without me watching, they would have won. I'm so sorry ... so very sorry.

The only chance we have is the run game and a heavy dose of Spiller. Be bold and different Chan. Game plan with McIntyre leading the rush and pound NE. Pound the ball and control the clock. STay away from WIlfork. They can be beat. Our D will have to step it up, but NE can be beat.

Are you kidding me? Chan Gailey's offense can muster up a mere 3 field goals? This team cannot convert 3rd downs. Lame. Fitzpatrick, as lame as he is, delivered the ball somewhat well, but his receivers dropped the ball at critical moments (Chandler). I am now opposed to the running back by committee approach ... make Spiller the primary and use Fred as second. Houston was beatable today. An average team could have beaten them. Since the Bills are not playing due to Bye, what will you do? At the end of the day tomorrow I may think "hey I can actually enjoy my day and be happy, productive, actually listen to what someone has to say, and not bite my nails." Maybe I shouldn't follow this dreadful team/organization.

I say 1990 Bills win. Both teams have dynamic offenses, but the Bills defense was better then todays Patriots defense.

Mangini is an optimal candidate for Def Coor. He has a record of being able to defeat New England. He did so with Jets and with Cleveland. I don't know that he'll ever be hired as a head coach again but he should be a def coordinator. He did pick/draft good talent when he was with Jets and Cleveland, but also did some bonehad moves as well. but, imho, I would love for Mangini to be our Def coor. Won't happen though ... he's not a "Chan" guy ... no chemistry.

I watch the same each week. I feel obligated since I spect $199 for Directv. I say this now, but I am leaning towards NOT renewing Sunday Ticket next season. I'll bet the Bills will make some move that will SUCK me in for yet another wasted $$ on a subscription.

Dude, I'm saying YES, draft a top tier QB, but in the meantime, get a QB in there who at least gives the team a fighting chance. I know its a crazy idea ... we're all swinging from the chandeliers here because our team is doing just the same.

I know he is second string QB for Chicago and it'll never happen, but I started to think he might be a good QB while Buffalo looks for and grooms a new QB. He was a stud in Oakland before he got hurt. A definate upgrade over Fitzgerald.

That's it. I'm fed up. What a lame team. No disipline. Little to no offsense, and a "D" that gets zero pressure on the QB, allows huge running and passing gains. I think we're lloking at 7-9 at best. Ryan Fitzpatrick will not be on the team next year. Good chance Chan will be gone as well, IMO.

OK, Gruden or Billick I can see, but any of the Ryan brothers? No thank you. Rob Ryan hasn't even coached a Top 5 defense and you would want him as HC? No thanks on Rex either, not that either would be available. How about Eric Mangini as DC? I'm already over Wannstadt ... been a failure since he left Dallas decades ago.
