The only chance we have is the run game and a heavy dose of Spiller. Be bold and different Chan. Game plan with McIntyre leading the rush and pound NE. Pound the ball and control the clock. STay away from WIlfork. They can be beat. Our D will have to step it up, but NE can be beat.

Ditto. What a mess of a team. Chan's offense scored three touchdowns. Pathetic. Poor third down conversions. Not sure what to think of Gilmore ... has good days then not so good days, gets burned a lot. Houston was beatable today. An average team could have scored 10-14 points easily in first half. Bills are a bottom 5 team. I watch other teams and often think, why can't the Bills play like that? Bad secondary. Little pressure on opposing QB. No "attack" in our "D". Where's the fire gonna come from on this team? Chan? Nope. Wanstadt up in the booth? No. Looks like business as usual on the sidelines ... losing. I left house in early 4rth qtr. I knew outcome. Are you kidding me? Chan Gailey's offense can muster up a mere 3 field goals? This team cannot convert 3rd downs. Lame. Fitzpatrick, as lame as he is, delivered the ball somewhat well, but his receivers dropped the ball at critical moments (Chandler). I am now opposed to the running back by committee approach ... make Spiller the primary and use Fred as second. Houston was beatable today. An average team could have beaten them. Since the Bills are not playing due to Bye, what will you do? At the end of the day tomorrow I may think "hey I can actually enjoy my day and be happy, productive, actually listen to what someone has to say, and not bite my nails." Maybe I shouldn't follow this dreadful team/organization.

I say 1990 Bills win. Both teams have dynamic offenses, but the Bills defense was better then todays Patriots defense.

Mangini is an optimal candidate for Def Coor. He has a record of being able to defeat New England. He did so with Jets and with Cleveland. I don't know that he'll ever be hired as a head coach again but he should be a def coordinator. He did pick/draft good talent when he was with Jets and Cleveland, but also did some bonehad moves as well. but, imho, I would love for Mangini to be our Def coor. Won't happen though ... he's not a "Chan" guy ... no chemistry.

I watch the same each week. I feel obligated since I spect $199 for Directv. I say this now, but I am leaning towards NOT renewing Sunday Ticket next season. I'll bet the Bills will make some move that will SUCK me in for yet another wasted $$ on a subscription.

Dude, I'm saying YES, draft a top tier QB, but in the meantime, get a QB in there who at least gives the team a fighting chance. I know its a crazy idea ... we're all swinging from the chandeliers here because our team is doing just the same.

I know he is second string QB for Chicago and it'll never happen, but I started to think he might be a good QB while Buffalo looks for and grooms a new QB. He was a stud in Oakland before he got hurt. A definate upgrade over Fitzgerald.

How can a team get absolutely NO PRESSURE on the opposing QB????? How frigging frustrating! I mean their QB has all day to throw ... of course our opponents are setting all sorts of records ... any QB can pick apart our "D"

That's it. I'm fed up. What a lame team. No disipline. Little to no offsense, and a "D" that gets zero pressure on the QB, allows huge running and passing gains. I think we're lloking at 7-9 at best. Ryan Fitzpatrick will not be on the team next year. Good chance Chan will be gone as well, IMO.

OK, Gruden or Billick I can see, but any of the Ryan brothers? No thank you. Rob Ryan hasn't even coached a Top 5 defense and you would want him as HC? No thanks on Rex either, not that either would be available. How about Eric Mangini as DC? I'm already over Wannstadt ... been a failure since he left Dallas decades ago.

BINGO! Were there ANY blitzes today? Bills got some pressure on Brady on just a few snaps, but mostly he had a lot of time. Why not more blitzes? Our D really isnt all that good ... maybe average. When I watch other AFC teams play NE (ala Baltimore) I see them push NE's oline back and often times a defender will get through and put serious pressure on Brady. We need to be more aggressive. I'm wishing Greg Williams was our D coordinator. Brady had all day back there. You would figure that between Mario, Dareus, Williams or Andersen that SOMEONE would get through, but I guess not. The only redemption here is go sweep the rest of the division games, and I mean go into NE later this year and man handle them the way they did today. 45 points in second half = UNACCEPTABLE!!

I haven't caught every snap that VY has taken in pre-season, but the ones I've seen have been have been lackluster at best. The only positive thing I can say has to do with his scrambling, which he seems to do a lot. The throws I have seen have either been over-thrown, or near interceptions (throwing into tight coverage or not seeing defender at all). What happened to the VY of the early Titan years? I recall he kicked Bills a** in his rookie year ... not only with his scrambling but his laser accurate passes. I'm concerned if he ends up being our #2, and you should be too.
