  1. When rumors were heating up that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were going to buy the Mets, I was 100% prepared to dump the Mets if it came to fruition. My mind was made up that I’d switch to the Red Sox (because Fenway is the same distance from me as Citifield and I love Fenway) and only switch back if the team was sold to someone else. Luckily, it didn’t happen. Had it happened and I jumped ship, I would not consider myself disloyal, given the context.
  2. If I had to guess, I’d say a solid 90% think they’re the cat’s ass.
  3. There has never been even one second that I thought the zubaz pattern was anything other than hideous.

I feel like I recall that he had no experience holding for FG attempts. His big leg would come in handy if the offense gets held deep within its own territory, but other than that, I don’t know what promise he’s shown. I just don’t see the juice being worth the squeeze, here.
  5. That might be a byproduct of being near the NY/NJ border.
  6. I’ve always been kind of a homer with our first round picks. I’ve always been able to convince myself that they were the right picks. The Kincaid pick felt great to me right when it happened. No self-convincing necessary.
  7. Is this “I am so effin’ happy about this pick!!” Or is it “What the f*ck were they thinking!?!”
  8. It’s good for the millionaire players and the billionaire owners.
  9. My last few trips, I’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn in Hamburg and it’s been perfect and affordable. Less than 10 minutes to the stadium. About 20 minutes from the Bar Bill in EA. Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast.
  10. Im struggling to understand how one person’s willpower can control another person’s actions. I don’t think that’s how willpower works.
  11. Not nearly often enough.
  12. Usually twice/week. Two small loads, at most.
  13. If nothing else, his completion percentage is 1.000 with this chick. Looks like he found his receiver!
  14. Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld) Alan Harper (Two and a Half Men) Luther Van Dam (Coach) Ed Norton (Honeymooners)
  15. I honestly cannot understand how anyone wouldn’t like Jim Nantz.

I feel like this is the route he’s going to take (or already has begun to take) and I agree - if playing in the NFL is his goal, this isn’t going to expedite it.

So plagiarists make good professors now??? You are NOT a process guy!
  19. Jesus' Wife: "And where have YOU been for the past three days, Mr. Winemaker?" Jesus Christ: "It's okay, I'll tell you… Not that's important or anything, but I was DEAD!!! I'M IN A *****IN' GRAVE OUTSIDE OF TOWN! I'M FIGHTIN' DEATH, HELL, DECOMPOSURE! I'M CHANGIN' SPIRITUAL FORM, ABOUT TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND I GO "WAIT A SECOND! I GOTTA GO BACK BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHERE I'VE BEEN!"“ — Sam Kinison
  20. The team had decent attendance already. They’re defending champions. Since AB and his father joined the mix, the former owners, all of the coaches and many of the players have left. Those who chose to stay went without pay for a while, which they finally got. Bottom line, they’re destroying the team and I’m pretty certain this season will be the last we see of the Albany Empire.
  21. If you really had a heart, you’d donate your brain to one of the PPP regulars!
  22. Like we didn’t see THIS coming … https://cbs6albany.com/amp/sports/content/empire-team-owner-antonio-brown-suiting-up-for-next-home-game-majority-owner-albany-empire-mvp-arena Antonio Brown, majority owner of the Albany Empire, plans to suit up and take the field at the next Albany Empire home game. JR Rickert, who works directly with Antonio Brown, sent us this statement. "AB fully plans to suit up this season for the Empire and is listening to interest from NFL teams. I can confirm that teams have been inquiring about him playing."

I saw them at RPI in ‘87 (Rabin-era). I was never a huge Yes fan, but I did prefer classic Yes over this iteration of the band. I just checked the set list - https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/yes/1987/rpi-fieldhouse-troy-ny-13df1ddd.html - and at least I didn’t have to endure Love Will Find a Way or the Rhythm of Love (both set list regulars during that tour)!

Because it’s a crappy pop song. But I get it … just like I knew it was inevitable that the Police would play Every Breath You Take, which I consider to be the worst (hands down) Police song ever recorded. These guys know there are more casual fans than fans who know/understand a band’s entire catalog of music. So I do understand why they play those songs live. But I don’t have to like it. 😂
