I was just about to opine the same. The dramatic ending did it for me; not to mention, Tom Petty kicked ass in the halftime show.
I just learned that the Eagles were the primary choice for this halftime, but they turned it down.
Personally, I've been tipping more, too. I'd guess that many others are, too. Last time I ordered from our regular delivery place, the girl who delivered said they'd never been so busy and she was grateful. But the more traditional sit-in places are the ones who really need the help. I feel terrible for them.
Daboll: Hey Brandon, draft a running back so I can stop using him when he's being effective. OH, oh, oh ... and get me another tight end who can't catch!
How many points should it be if a player catches a kickoff in the end zone, then tosses it to the ref, who lets it fall to the ground ... then said ball is picked up by the kicking team?
I totally get it. I think it's safe to say that every restaurant in the state is suffering as much and worse. It sucks. A lot of people are doing what they can (getting takeout, delivery) to help the small guys out ... and that's awesome. I think it will have to continue long after this is "over," for many to fully recover.
Sounds like you're socially-distancing, too, which is also cool.
I hope everyone has a great time and you guys get good weather for it!
Be well and be safe!!!!
Where I am is that if someone says, "n word, please!" in a joking manner, that's bad. But when someone says, casually, "hey, n word," it's a lot worse.
The first is an attempt at humor in poor taste. The second is indicative of something more, IMO.
