Every week for years, three other TBD Pricks and I have been guessing the final score and keeping track of who is closest each week. I keep a whiteboard on my fridge and every week, sometime prior to game time, I write all of our predictions down, take a picture and send it to the group. For no good reason at all, I did not do that this week. This is why the Bills lost.

I never really stopped and thought about my life in 2009 (when I joined here, like you) vs. my life in 2022 ... until I read your post just now. While I've not moved at all, I've gone through multiple job changes, divorced, raised my son practically alone since 2017, and met someone great. Shooting the sh!t with all the pricks here on TBD helped keep me sane through all of that, to be honest. Glad to hear things are looking up for you! Cheers!

LOL, I'm sure you are! I'd love another game like last night's for game 6, but with Philly coming out on top. Game 7 would be a lot of fun to watch. At this point (this happens every year with me), I'm happy for whichever team wins. Both have played great baseball with sportsmanship.

I was thinking the same last night. As a Mets fan, I'm sure you remember the horrid defense (primarily Daniel Murphy at 2B) that plagued the Mets in the 2015 World Series. I loved last night's game. Proved that it's not always about the long ball. It still comes down to manufacturing runs and playing solid defense when it's all said and done. This World Series has a little bit of everything. Home Runs, great pitching (a no f*cking hitter!!), contact hitting, great defense ... it's been a great World Series and I hope it gets stretched to seven games.
