  1. Am I the only one that thinks what little we saw of Fine last year looked promising and tight end may not be our biggest need?
  2. it gets worse, he was drafted with the pick we traded for bledsoe
  3. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/foot...d.ap/index.html What is it with these guys...cops had to taser him, had gotten off on pot charges last month, probably won't help with Lynch's suspension if players aren't getting the message that you can't behave like this.
  4. Sam and Randall Cunningham are #7...should be #2.
  5. come back from 3-1 deficit in third, team comes out brawling after Max gets suckered following empty net goal
  6. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...ings/index.html Tried the search button, could not find where this had been discussed, apologies if I missed something. Cliff notes version owners are prepared for 2010 to be uncapped. This is not nearly as beneficial to players or beneficial to "rich" teams as one might think. Would require 6 years before FA eligilibity, final 4 and final 2 restrictions on acquiring free agents, teams would be able to use both franchise and transition tag in same year, various other safeguards to prevent a doomsday scenario for small market teams.
  7. more importantly was/is a good person
  8. Bills traded their #1, not an extra. After the trade the Bills had no #1 in 2003. Before the 2003 draft the Bills traded Peerless Price to Atlanta for their #1 so they ended up with a #1 but at the time of the trade the pick was not an "extra" #1
  9. Tell your brother he can relax, statute of limitations is up
  10. Well said, this pretty much sums it up
  11. Polian # 1 Donahoe # 2 Benching Flutie doesn't even crack the top 10
  12. Too bad its the fourth time this year the tail gate was the only good part of the game.
  13. Equally absymal are the busts and mediocre 2nd round picks 2000 Traveres Tillman - bust 01 - Schoebel/Henry - above average value here 02 - Reed / Denney- neither a bust but had hoped for more from both 03 - Kelsay - had hoped for more 04 - gave up the pick for JP 05 - Roscoe - had hoped for more 06 - gave up the pick for Mcargo book still out on Pos and Hardy, 07 and 08 picks though can pobaly again say had hoped for more from both at this stage
  14. Way too young...had a great game against Oakland in the 80's, during the game the defense had a chance to be the first to blosck a Ray Guy punt but ended up sacking him instead
  15. Because he lets them practice inside when the weather is lousy
  16. And I'm an alcholic This team is unwatchable (yeah, I've been to every home game so far and I'll go to the New England game, and I live in Rochester)
  17. I don't feel bad for anyone who makes his kind of money, he doesn't care I'm out over 100K in my 401K this year
  18. Not reading through three pages of reply's so apologies if this has been posted, Jaws thought he would have a better career that the 3 qb's that went ahead of him (manning, roth'berger, rivers)...said he played behind the worst offensive line ever assembled in college
  19. Actually I know a lot of people that hunt deer and none of them do this so it is out of the ordinary
  20. Ralph had a chance to move into a division with Cinci, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh back in the 90's when the divisions realigned. He was against anything that didn't keep the Miami rivalry in tact. Your point is valid, roster based rivalries can't last forever (eg kelly vs marino), geographic rivalries can (eg Michigan/Ohio St, Duke Unc in B-ball, etc). Ralph missed the boat on that one.
  21. Series record: Browns lead, 9-5 (counting postseason). So I'm interested in knowing if this includes the old AAFL stats. Clearly it includes the current Ravens stats
  22. Hard to believe we actually miss Schoebel
  23. Manning brothers...btw you're and idiot
  24. He was with Minnesota in 2000 which was his last year
