  1. only thing that comes to mind is the same thing that is good about light beer..none in my refrigerator
  2. Number 4 below offers advice about the original question but this is all useful so posting the entire thing. Read this and make a copy for your files in case you need to refer to it someday. Maybe we should all take some of his advice! A corporate Attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company. 1. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put 'PHOTO ID REQUIRED.' 2.. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card Accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the 'For' line. Instead, just put the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through all the check processing channels won't have access to it. 3.. Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home Phone. If you have a PO Box use that instead of your home address. If you do not have a PO Box, use your work address. Never have your SS# printed on your checks. (DUH!) You can add it if it is necessary. But if you have It printed, anyone can get it. 4.. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to Call and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. I also carry a Photocopy of my passport when I travel either here or abroad. We've all heard horror stories about fraud that's committed on us in stealing a Name, address, Social Security number, credit cards. Unfortunately, I, an attorney, have firsthand knowledge because my Wallet was stolen last month. Within a week, the thieve(S) ordered an Expensive monthly cell phone package, applied for a VISA credit card, had A credit line approved to buy a Gateway computer, received a PIN number From DMV to change my driving record information online, and more. But here's some critical information to limit the damage in case this happens to you or someone you know: 5.. We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately. But the key is having the toll free numbers and your card Numbers handy so you know whom to call. Keep those where you can find them. 6.. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit Providers you were diligent, and this is a first step toward an Investigation (if there ever is one). But here's what is perhaps most important of all: (I never even thought to do this.) 7.. Call the 3 national credit reporting organizations Immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and also call the Social Security fraud line number. I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that called to tell me an application for credit was made over The Internet in my name. The alert means any company that checks your Credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by Phone to authorize new credit. By the time I was advised to do this, almost two weeks after the theft, all the damage had been done. There are records of all the Credit checks initiated by the thieves' purchases, none of which I knew about before placing the alert. Since then, no additional damage has been done, and the thieves threw my wallet away this weekend (someone turned it in). It seems to have stopped them dead in their tracks. Now, here are the numbers you always need to contact about your wallet, etc., has been stolen: 1.) Equifax: 800-525-6285 2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 888-397-3742 3.) Trans Union : 800-6807289 4.) Social Security Administration (fraud line):800-269-0271
  3. Know that he he was working for McDonald's during the off season to prepare for life after football. He actually worked the counter for a while....one time a customer said "hey, aren't you Darrel Talley of the Buffalo Bills?" He replied "no sir, today I'm Darrel Talley of McDonald's" anyways always thought that was cool. Hope him and/or Jimbo get the team...sooner would be better then later.
  4. the way he looks now I'll be happy if he's an any down playe...starting to remind me of Audrey Bruce
  5. The 20 straight wins and the kelly/marino connection were indeed the main reasons for the rivalry. Unfortunately players retire and those connections end. The longest lasting rivalries are based on geography. Ohio state Michigan, Mich/Mich state, UNC/Duke in basketball = just makes sense that these rivalries will last forever. Unfortunately realignment took place at a time when the Miami Buffalo rivalry was at the end of a very long life...lasted a few years but as the original poster points out its all but dead now. Playing Pittsburgh, Cleveland, an Cincinati twice a year, having large contingent of visiting fans at the home venue, would have made much more sense geographically. Unfortunately Ralph did not have this vision, I believe the quote was we sell out the Miami game every year.
  6. we've been thinking about leaving the mcguire section because the neighbors don't like it when we make a lot of noise, always have a great time in the 300 sections. now your're telling me people are complaining about standing in the 300 section! this just stinks
  7. just going over it in my mind there are 17 first rounder starting qb's and 15 second or later (Brees was first pick of second round I think so you can almost say 18 first 14 later). Didn't check on line so could be off by one
  8. I would be happy with this
  9. Denver is 2-0 and two spots behind us...as pointed out several times this all means nothing
  10. not that it matters but he was drafted in 81, think he played 2-3 years.
  11. Sorry to hear this. He was actually a first round pick of the Bills but that disease limited his effectiveness. RIP
  12. You took our normal spot in the hammer lot and hammer told us not to bring a stereo because of the band. Nice job but someone should tell he band Freebird is a song to close with, not open. Anyways thanks for the tunes, saved us some set up/break down time.
  13. Correct (thought that was explained in the original post)
  14. Not sure if that is a rhetorical question...numbers are round, pick in round, overall pick 1 1 1 JaMarcus Russell Raiders Louisiana State 1 22 22 Brady Quinn Browns Notre Dame 2 4 36 Kevin Kolb Eagles Houston 2 8 40 John Beck Dolphins Brigham Young 2 11 43 Drew Stanton Lions Michigan State 3 29 92 Trent Edwards Bills Stanford 4 4 103 Isaiah Stanback Cowboys Washington 5 14 151 Jeff Rowe Bengals Nevada 5 37 174 Troy Smith Ravens Ohio State 6 31 205 Jordan Palmer Redskins Texas-El Paso 7 7 217 Tyler Thigpen Vikings Coastal Carolina
  15. Thanks, I won't waste any more time routing for the Raiders this year
  16. Was it a first round pick in 2010 or 2011? Really hate the Raiders but I've been routing for them because of the pick. Would hate to have to route for them again next year if it is a 2011 pick.
  17. Especially by Fitzgerald
  18. Maybe Singletary has scared him into always playing his best, not just during the second half of seasons before he becomes a fa
  19. Normally the best thing about light beer is there is NONE in my refigerator. Unfortunately some Coors Light found its way into my cooler at the Bears preseason game and now sits in my fridge. It will be free to anyone who has the bad taste to like it at the Bucs game, although presumably some regular at my tailgate likes it or it wouldn't have ended up in my cooler. Or maybe some one was just busting my chops or trying to piss me off.
  20. Am I hopelessly stuck in the past or do others like music from that era? Yes to both questions
  21. Never thought I would look back at the Phillips era and think of it as the good old days.
  22. Maybe but I still have fond memories of it. During my nephew's freshman (sophmore?) year in high school we woud watch the game every Saturday night. He's grown now and we go to all the Bills games but we really bonded watching those games. Go Tommy Maddox!
  23. still is
  24. Marvcus Patton had a nice career after leaving the Bills, though probably not what you'd call big time money. Marcellus Wiley as well.
  25. Kind of reminds me of Scott Mitchell
