is jonathan williams next? - update: now cutabc replied to ronnieroscoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives He's in line for 10 carries per game this season with a healthy McCoy and will be the starter if Shady goes down. It's called the 4th pre-season game...they don't play people they need for the regular season unless required or strongly desired.

He most certainly will see it. Hopefully Cookie is up there with him and not somewhere else.

Ralph set this team back with his trust issuesabc replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Agreed but you're assuming the OP is interested in evidence...or even logic. Neither of those appear to be involved in his/her arguments. Mainly positing opinions as facts and then quoting his/her Ravens fan buddy as an expert!

Ralph set this team back with his trust issuesabc replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives So Pegula is a meddling owner who won't hire a professional to run the team and Ralph was an absentee owner who sat back and let professionals run the team.

Ralph set this team back with his trust issuesabc replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Bad pre-season game and the Pegula bashers coming out I can understand. But Ralph Wilson bashing for stuff he did 15 years ago? Give me a break.

Ralph set this team back with his trust issuesabc replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives Revisionist history here. Knox was competent but so painfully conservative his teams could never win a championship, before, during, or after his Bills tenure. Never made the Super Bowl in 22 years of head coaching and had a 7-11 post season record. Solid guy but after 5 seasons it was time to move on. (Of course it did get worse until Marv came onboard).

Goff was arguably the worst QB in the NFL last year. We'll see how he looks when the games count and the assessment comes from performance and results, not a teammate blowin' smoke.

At their peak, I'd go with Moss, Rice, Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, Michael Irvin, and Reggie Wayne. I remember seeing some great receivers in the late 70's as well but frankly I was too young to appreciate it and can't really compare to the more 'modern' era. I mean guys like Largent, Biletnikoff, etc.

This is the hot head who picks up half a dozen 15 yard penalties a year because he can't control his behavior under emotional stress. I'm not surprised at this behavior in practice.

Will anyone actually admit to leaving the Oilers game early?abc replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives A buddy and I were driving back to Western NY from a wedding in Virginia. He was an Eagles fan and most people won't recall, but the Eagles played the Saints in the afternoon game that day. So we agreed he'd drive while the Bills were on the radio, and I'd drive while the Eagles played. After the early 3rd quarter TD by Houston put them up 31-3 (I think?) I disgustedly turned off the radio and we stopped to get gas. After we filled up, I told him I might as well start driving since the Bills game was effectively over. After a while, I couldn't stand it any more and turned the radio back on. I heard the crowd roaring and Van Miller say that Reich was dropping back to pass and "Touchdown!" (I can't recall if it was Reed or maybe Beebe) but anyway it was like 31-17 now so I left the radio on. As the game wound down and Norwood lined up to kick the eventual game winner I found myself almost unable to drive and had slowed down to 20 mph on the interstate. My friend told me to pull over before we got killed. I pulled to a stop along the side of the highway as the kick went through the uprights and Van made his call. I got out of the car and ran around it a few times to let off some energy. Interestingly, and somewhat forgotten to history, the Eagles made a great two touchdown 4th quarter comeback in the second game to win as well, making both of us quite happy that day.

Southern states = Those that were in the Confederacy. North Carolina is definitely southern. Borderline states are those with slavery but still in the Union. Missouri, Maryland, Kentucky. It was 150 years ago but still relevant today. Not in any way making this racial, just the history of the country.

Bills and Sabre Game Weekends (Sabres Schedule)abc replied to Jamie Nails's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives This is great for out of town fans..who want to travel and see the teams......but, I smell a rat from the point of view of Bills fans....who deserve two home games in each season month..Sep-Dec. I am wondering if the Pegs are influenceing the NFL scheduling to setup these date matchups. And thus backloading the bills home games into the end of the season. i have long criticized the backloading of the Bills schedule into the Nov-Dec timeframe, when its cold outside. More than four games in that time period means that, once agian, the Bilsl games season ticket holders got hosed. This schedule matchup is way more than in prior years, and is the basis of my gut feel on this issue. Of course, the Sabres schedule could also be influenced here.......still, to many years of backloading Bills games into the cold weatrher months. (One of the reasons I dropped my season tickets this year)
