I would say it has to depend on the contract. I know last year isn't this year but Dalton and Fitz both had 1yr/10m contracts. Mariota was 1/3.5m which I think would be a good price. Also, not saying he wouldn't go back on his word to be back in Buffalo, but I believe Fitz said he wasn't interested in signing with a team he played for before. I don't have the direct quote but have seen others reference it on TBD before.

This is just like the move "draft day". Except the Browns gave up more than just 3 1st round picks, picked up a QB that ever in their fan base apparently hates and paid him $230 million instead of riding with the guy that you had. I think that's pretty close.

Barkley's was 1-0 as a starter for the Bills and 8 years younger than FItz. Again, I get the love for Fitz but don't think it's going to happen. I get the love for Fitz but come on. He was out all season last year with a hip injury/surgery and is 39. People were complaining about signing a 32y old von Miller and you want to sign a guy with a walker as your back up qb?

I'll give you the upgrade at QB but taken seriously with Cooper as their only receiver worth anything and now no 1st round picks for 3 years along with a few others this year, they really haven't done anything more than sign a big name.
