All jokes aside, I honestly think Pederson is doing something down south that is going to catch a lot of attention and is in contention for the #1 seed.

Well my point was more of "if you don't know who the #1 WR is then they are all targets at any given time" Kind of reminds me of how Allen was in 2020. Everyone got fed the ball. Even with Diggs taking it a bunch. Beasley had 20 less targets that season and was the bread and butter underneath. They need more of that.

And I think that's the hope for the future with Kincaid (at least within the organization). I don't expect it to happen overnight but we actually do have a good TE already and the potential of another. That's what I feel like this is all about. A shift toward the early New England years with two TE's that can win and have receivers that just do enough. Maybe that's the reason why Diggs is upset.

Would not having a #1 WR really be that bad? Honestly asking. Having a few 2/3 WRs can work apparently.

I'd have to disagree with the O improvements. None of them are rock stars for sure but I do think that they are at worst, at the same level as the people they are replacing. Sherfield is the only one I will contest. He had less targets and 4 less games started but still put out the same amount of yards (5 less yards actually but who cares that much). TD's were less for Sherfield but when you have Hill and Waddle as your primary receivers you aren't going to get much.

The most logical answer I can think of is coaching staff is not allowed to communicate with players during the off season other than specific time periods.

Rebuilding as in what? Changing the core of the team or changing the offensive philosophy? They aren't changing the team any time soon. How the offense works, that could be a thing for sure.

I know these guys get away during the off season but it's not like they live on different planets with no communication to the rest of the world. He knew about all of these things a while ago. If anything, they brought in players that will be more useful on offense than McKenzie, Beasley and brown and he doesn't like it.

I'm still confident that it's because he gave Diggs a 97 madden rating.
