Why is Tyrod Taylor not more revered in the Bills fan base?
The Wiz replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
And he was on the money every time he threw it. Twice a season. -
More players to receive season long gambling suspensions this week.

Again. The question was the integrity of the NFL. A strong moral principle. Tell me the NFL has a "strong moral principle"? That's the only point I was making regarding involving all the domestic issues. I still think the NFL is recouping their losses from the covid seasons even though they are still stupidly profitable. If I really wanted to dive into the weeds I would complain about how players are taxed but the NFL is a non-profit so they are not but yea. -

The question was the integrity of the NFL. How is that strawman? They suspend players for betting but not committing actual real life crimes (You know, the type of stuff you and I would go to jail for if we weren't really good at sports). -

Yes. But they have looked weak for a while honestly. Beat your wife: you good kill someone: didn't see it so whatevs beat your kid: shame on you, but your good for business gamble: SUSPENDED! Some of these have a very weak moral principle. The other might cost the NFL to lose money because players are fixing games for themselves and costing the NFL and their endorsed gambling sites money. A drop in the ocean I'm sure but they don't want to be fleeced. They want to be the ones doing the fleecing. -

No, just that they endorse it now. NFL: "Gambling is bad, and now a word from our local sponsor" FANDUEL HERE! DraftKings HERE! BetMGM HERE! -

It's not a problem, but introducing gambling, which was brought on by the NFL and owners to deepen their own pockets, has allowed the integrity to look rather weak. -

Yea that is a pretty bad look for the NFL. Not the suspension, the gambling on a teammate and heavily. He knew a heavy run game plan was coming and bet big. -
Pats give DeVante Parker a Big Extension
The Wiz replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the biggest difference between MVS and Walker deals compared to what Davis will get is age. Gabe is only 24 which like Coach Tuesday said, is around the market cost for his age so I think that would be a good deal knowing he still has at least 3-4 years of good football left (physically anyways, not getting into the actual performance on the field stuff). -

Worth every penny 😆 -
Apparently his appraisal of the victim and the boat was rather low.

I'm sure it was part of it, but it was directed right at Allen. That doesn't mean that his problem was with Allen but he took it out on him if nothing else. I understand being held accountable for but when you take your frustration out on some that is doing all that they can to make you better/get paid/be "HIM", it's a good way of making it known that you care more about how you look vs how the team does. Again, just playing the Devils' advocate here. I know Allen missed plays, was rushed and/or hit on throws and looked off of Diggs a few times in the game. The point is that every WR thinks they are always open, whether they are or not and how they deal with not being throw the ball matters just as much as another receiver catching a pass for a 1st down.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, just playing the devils advocate on this one. If winning solves everything why was there so much contention in the Bengals game on the sideline? They were 14-3 at that point (including the dolphin win). He should have been happy. If he's going to turn into what he did against the Bengals every time they are down then McD needs to step in and shut it down. I get it, it's the playoffs, win or go home, etc. That's the type of thing that I feel like ends up making players feel more defeated than what they are already going through though. Being a great player is fine, no question. He has that win or lose. He needs to be a great teammate in both situations also, not just when everything is going right.

Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)
The Wiz replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like both sides want it to happen but both sides also have number they wont cross. At the very least, it just shows that NE isn't going to sit around and be used to try to drive up his market. If anything, that signing was kind of a "FU" to him because Parker isn't worth that money. The only one with the flexibility is DHop. Bills are up against the cap and are only playing ball if he comes in at the right price. -
The better question is if Diggs gets what he wants, allegedly, "more say in the offensive game planning" and gets more targets with the same or less production, where does he point the finger then and does the staff/team start to turn on him for wanting it to be all about him (especially if their record is bad by November)?

According to the Pats fans replying to that tweet, absolutely nothing. -

This will put a wrinkle in the "DHop to NE" speculation. -
You can always park on the 490 with a pair of binoculars. It would be the first time you've done it I'm sure. 😆

I didn't even watch it, the clipped image showed the top 10 and I saw where the bills were and just keep scrolling.

All is well folks. Cowherd did his usual thing and changed his tune for the ratings. Top-10 HC/QB combo: #8 McD and Allen I'm not going to post the video just because he doesn't deserve the clicks. 😁

Josh Allen and the next Steps we need him to make to be the best.
The Wiz replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was much less "hero ball" before he hurt his elbow so I think that had something to do with it for sure. I don't think he was doing it as a point of "gtf out of my way" but more of a change in the offensive philosophy to try to make it easier for him. All the reports pointed to that the type of injury he had would change his throwing style more on the short and intermediate routes vs just chucking it. -
Honestly the premise of the topic feels disingenuous. Not the OP, just the ranking itself. Let's make a ranking of all the offensive weapons but leave out the QB. You could effectively have the best WRs, TEs and RBs in the league but none of that matters if you don't have a QB worth a damn.

Interesting comparison Gabe Davis & Hopkins
The Wiz replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall
Definitely need the header on that to know exactly what this means. I'd guess though that Gabe is probably as good as Dhop is the point being made (on first down anyways). -

I agree with you for sure about them carrying the offense. But to play the devil's advocate, look at what Mahomes was still able to do after he lost Tyreek. I know he said it as a joke but it was partially true that he "had to start looking for other receivers as his first read". Yes, having Kelce more than makes up for that but when you look at how the Giants were able to be competitive with less than stellar receiving core, it made it harder for teams to plan against who was "that guys" you have to shut down. It would be interesting to see how it would play out is all I'm saying and would prefer diggs on the field as opposed to off it.
