Not gonna lie, I feel like these types of things are closer to a "participation trophy" than anything. Similar to being the better team on paper; at any point, in any game, something could change the way the rest of the season plays out. It's a nice individual accolade but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Again, I'm in agreement with you but the question is likely still to linger of "what was the issue?" If the details aren't given and every talking head and journalist is going to have this whole thing in the back of their heads waiting for another incident so they can rehash it all over again.

Even when he does speak, he's not going to give them an answer that will be accepted. It will likely be the same stuff they have been saying with no details and the speculation will continue.

I agree with you on everything. The problem is anyone with a capture device and microphone has turned the internet into clickbait titles with different videos from the actual topic to promote themselves. I'm sure you and everyone else has seen it on YouTube. That's the bigger problem. They are taking others content and show it off and get more attention than the actual creators.

That's what I'm afraid of. As soon as they censor him they are both screwed. Jim Rome has been doing it for decades now. You build a big enough following and they will stay anyways.

As long as he's allowed to keep running his show the way he does now, hell be fine.

I'd be curious to know how much worse off specific networks are based on availability with over-the-air broadcasts. I know they are still measured in the Nielsen ratings OTA but I'm sure it took a hit on their bottom line from it not being watch on cable/satellite. Early at the start of streaming media I switch to Roku and bought a good digital antenna and pointed it at Buffalo to pick up the games that were only aired in market to get by. Everything was just streaming for me. (still puzzles me how Rochester was IN MARKET for blackout but OUT OF MARKET for local broadcast only). I could see that. Never really cared much for boxing until the last year or so but he does have that same type of delivery that I see from the commentators and announcers now.
