B. Smith is not a QB. If he was, he would have come in for Fitzcrackedribs last season. If he was, he would have made a pass from the wildcat. I he was, he wouldn't be WR right now.
I hope T. Jackson realizes that when Fitz eventually goes dow or is pulled, it will probably be his last time to shine and show what he can do as starting QB. Maybe he can be like Spiller and make everyone forget who he replaced if only for one game.
The career mode tutorial won't allow you to play co-op. A huge step backwards. Half of the fun was playing with up to 4 friends though multiple seasons, now it's 2 players only IF you want to just play exhibition 1 on 1. There's innovation and then there's fixing what isn't broke.
Brad Smith is not a QB. I've only heard rumors that he has the ability to throw. Opposing defenses put 9 men in the box until Gailey takes a chance and let's him try a forward pass.
How long do we have to wait until we can say Fitz has progressed as much as he will? 3 years? Done. 5 years? Why? He's shown us exactly what he was since he came here: a competent backup with occasional flashes of brilliance. His stats say that yet so many hope against logic that he'll hit some kind of growth spurt as a QB and become Peyton Manning Jr.
Wrong. Paying admission or buying Bills gear makes us more stockholders than teammates. And even we were teammates, we would still let Fitz know when he's not performing. Or do good teammates lie to each other?
After decades of letdowns, very few Bills fans are going to let themselves get too worked up just yet. Especially after last season. But nothing wrong with celebrating a victory and hoping for more.
I wouldn't put too much stock in it. Some had Green Bay losing to Chicago just because of week 1. I want Buffalo to make a statement by winning like GB just did.
Gailey is starting to sound like someone who just really would like to fish and construct model airplanes in his golden years. And he will next year or week 8.
