  1. Look at this exchange of texts messages (Brady ordered assistant to deflate footballs and the guy who deflated them was given merchandise) Bird: Remember to put a couple sweet pig skins ready for tom to sign John Jastremski U got it kid...big autograph day for you Bird: Nice throw some kicks in and make it real special John Jastremski It ur lucky. 11? Bird:11 or 11 and half kid Three days later, in the Patriots equipment room and with Jastremski present, Brady autographed two footballs supplied by Jastremski and handed the balls to McNally. McNally understood the balls to be Patriots practice balls. At that time, Brady also signed a Tom Brady game-worn jersey for McNally. According to McNally, he had received the jersey years earlier from a former Patriots Equipment Manager. Jastremski confirmed that Brady autographed the items for McNally around the time that Brady was selecting the game balls to be used during the game against the Ravens. According to McNally, the jersey autographed by Brady has been framed and now hangs in his house, and the footballs autographed by Brady were placed in display cases and given by McNally to family members as gifts. McNally claims to have made no efforts to sell the autographed items.
  2. The whole situation is It is sad in many ways. A guy like Roger Goodell has to legitimately LOVE the game of football to get as far as he has. It must be painful inside for him to hear the boos everywhere he goes. $40 Million a year dont hurt though
  3. So says the guy who routinely criticized seattles drafts for several years until they started to go to superbowls.
  4. The time for the Bills to draft a QB was several years ago when we passed on Russel Wilson 3 times (trading up for TJ Graham in the process) SMH
  5. It's like everyone here forgets that next year weyre going to shed salory in order to pay dareus and mckelvin is as good as gone. We just got our new starting corner in 2 years opposite Gilmore and everyone's pissed
  6. I just cant stand how much of a production they make it now. I loved the draft back in the day when it started early saturday and went through rounds 3. Wake up and make breakfast and just soak up all the football glory. Now all the league cares about is hyping the first round and scheduling it so they get maximum TV ratings. Half of these guys dont pan out and the hype around it is sickening. Next time you make fun of your wife for really getting into Dancing with the Stars or which celebrity of forking another....really stop and think how ridiculous it is that as a grown man you are willing to spend several days on end watching young men get drafted to play a sport. Will I watch it? Yes. Has it lost its touch and become a production? Yes.
  7. put me in the group of people who hate it
  8. 100k if you get it completely right. Its almost a joke that they get to advertise the 100k part of it. Its like being able to find 1 particular grain of sand on miami beach
  9. pretty sure this contest is statistically impossible to win. 1 out of 17x16x15x14.....and so on= 3.5568744e14
  10. Best: Hiring Rex Ryan- It all starts with the Head Coach and I hated Rex almost as much as I do Bill Belichick.....because I know hes GOOD Worst: McCoy for Kiko- boldest riskiest move....for one of my favorite players in the league, Mccoy is still a RB. In order to justify this trade he is going to have to produce at an all pro level....I find it very unlikely that kiko is going to be washed up in Philly. Also, the Bills ate up a bunch of cap space by making this trade that could be used to resign a player like Dareus....if we let him walk next year the McCoy contract will be the reason why.
  11. I'm happy that they spent the money on the guys that they did, but everything is going to depend on the Mccoy trade. If he remains a top 5 all pro RB then we will be fine.o I like the signing of Percy Harvin a lot but I think the bills initially wanted to use that money on a lineman. I read somewhere that the bills are projected to still have tons of cap space over the next few years. However, a lot of that space is going to be eaten up by resigning core guys like Dareus, Glenns, Gilmoure and Woods. Im telling you right now were not going to be able to keep all 4 of these guys after the contracts we doled out to McCoy, Clay, M Williams, K Williams and J Hughes. Also consider the potential for EJ Manual/Taylor developing into a competent starting QB. That will require an extension and eat up plenty of $ too.
  12. Cassel: such a bland blah blah type of guy for the QB job... I doubt anyone here wants to see him win this competition EJ: I dont think many fans are giving him a shot to win this job and many people have written him off already. Dont forget the guy has all the physical tools you look for in a QB. He was thrown to the wolves his rookie year and managed to do pretty well (carolina panthers game anyone?). From all reports we've read it appears like he handled his demotion to Orton with class and who knows, with a chip on his shoulder and a year to sit back and watch the game maybe he will be able to make the leap in year three Taylor: Ahhh the perpeptual unknown commodity....the backup QB... the guy that Bills fans can pin their hopes and dreams to. I must admit that having Tyrod in the fold makes things exciting and we all hope we somehow have unearthed a hidden gem. Just keep expectations in check, it wouldnt surprise any of us if tyrod ended up a 3rd string behind EJ or Cassel. I think it would be smart for all of us as fans to temper our expectations and wait for him to light up training camp or a preaseason game before we annoint him as god.
  13. I think the Bills belong in the conversation for best talent: Tier 1: Broncos, Ravens, Pats, Steelers, Cardinals, Seahawks, Bengals and Dolphins. Tier 2: Colts, Chargers, Giants, Cowboys, Texans, Chiefs, Lions, Vikings, Panthers, Rams, Falcons, Jets Tier 3: Bears, Jaguars, Titans, 49ers, Raiders, Redskins, Saints, Buccaneers
  14. Also on a side note: How bad does this make Michael Crabtree look?
  15. I think San Diego is honestly the better fit for SJ. He has a lot of similiarities to Keenan Allen in that they are both savvy route runners with not a lot of top end speed. Good for him, I think San Diego is a team that is easy for Buffalo Bills fan's to root for.
  16. Great signing. I'm still a hold-out Percy Harvin fan and think he's an excellent player. We are off the hook after 1 season. Harvin is motivated to play lights out so they can hit it big in free agency. I suspect the Bills will let him handle all kickoff and punt return duties. Look out for a lot of read option/jet sweeps on offense. If we are able to establish a consistent running game we are going to have a field day with mis-direction and play action on offense. I think Harvin opens up a lot of things for us in the running game now. Bills have 3 blue chip-talent players on offense now. Were better as a team with this signing.... and that cant be argued.
  17. Rotoworld is reporting Miami is about to trade for Kenny Stills from the saints. I wonder if maybe Jordan Cameron will be involved?
  18. Seems like one of those deals where you will be paying for past production. Guy is 33 years old. How many lineman can you think of that switched teams this late in the game and excelled elsewhere?
  19. They only gave up a 5th rounder for him too....pretty sure the Bills coulda swung that
  20. Very happy with this signing. Taylor brings atheleticism to the position and more importantly: hes an unknown commodity who's only 25 years old and got to learn behind flacco for 4 years. As a Bills fan, we need yearly hope for the pipe dream QB that can somehow become the franchise guy we need. Taylor is this years version.
  21. I think there are more player for player trades going down right now than there have been in NFL history. I gotta hide the chubby poking through my pants.
  22. I dont care if Fred Jackon is 34 years old. I dont care if he isnt what he used to be. This guy is is a fan favorite, a humbling guy who never gave up on the dream. Our franchise owes this man 1 thing before its ok to let him go: Get him into the playoffs Until we accomplish that mission fred jackson should be on this roster until he physically can't play the game anymore." BTW if we do ever get into the playoffs and go on a run. I guarantee fred will somehow someway have something to do with it.
