  1. I see the Ravens and Pats**** calling him. The Ravens could def use him.
  2. what performance. In a few preseason practices? Never even got to a preseason game. Totally moronic decision if that was the case.
  3. Jonathan Williams being better than Karlos I get. But Gillislee I don't think is better. This better be something new.
  4. he should. There is no reason I can think of for the disparate treatment. Also, Bell's "settlement" includes that he stays at the same level in the drug program, meaning that if he tests positive or misses another test, he is only suspended 4 games.
  5. Dareus has to appeal his suspension. If Bell only gets 3 games, Dareus should be at 3 games. Bell already got busted for driving while high.
  6. Totally agree with this. Does the name Ralph Wilson appear anywhere at the Stadium. Is it New Era Field at Ralph Wilson Stadium?
  7. like the list, but Gragg is missing from "helped." He played well last year toward the end of the season. Nice to see the backup TE's having a good game.
  8. Barnett was a beast. Both seasons with Bills had over 100 tackles. Wants to play. If he's in good shape, the rest could have done him well. He could be a good replacement/backup until the younger starters are ready to go. Might as well kick the tires. You want someone that is hungry. HE doesn't need to play, he wants to. Nor is he as old as James Harrison, who is still kicking a** for the Steelers.
  9. I totally agree with your assessment. Basically, Pegs is saying that he can't undo the past 15 years, but that he has a plan, and is not going to become "knee-jerk" reaction to every event. This is a very talented team, unfortunately everyone is getting freaking injured. I want to see all backups and practice squad players in the preseason. Get them reps in case they are needed in the regular season, and rest the starters.
  10. Move him to a coaching role. We'd have the best secondary coaches in the country. Having neck and head injuries are not worth it. I'd retire if I were him. Plus, would that get his payroll off the books so that we could go after anyone who may still be available/cut?
  11. I think they are leaving a LOT of money on the table doing that. I would pay $30 for preseason, but not more.
  12. we 100% should have gone after Freeney, perhaps got outbid by ATL.
  13. put him in bubble wrap also!! could be a cramp. Stay hopeful!!
  14. good point about Rex getting some production out of Maybin. Striker is built better, and has much more of an attacking attitude.
  15. another football player with a ton of talent who wasted it. sad really.
  16. negative. Pot is still illegal under federal law. Employers have no obligation to permit its use. It's been litigated already. But good thought. What would PIT get in return though from Denver. ?
  17. Freeny would be a fantastic addition IMO. I'm fine with Bush as well, but have low expectitations. My guess is the Bills hope he can backup 5 games while K. Williams is out, and longer if they cut K. Williams if he shows up fat and out of shape after his suspension.
  18. I don't think his comment had anything to do w/ no caring about cancer. I'm sure he cares about cancer. He was only commenting that it appears that ESPN is yet again trying to over-expose itself and make money off of sad tragedies (Summit, etc.). That said, I have no clue how much ESPN donates to cancer as opposed to soliciting donations. The Jimmy V speech is one of the all-time great speeches in American History, IMO, not just in sports. The Jimmy V foundation is fantastic. But ESPN is so overly-dramatic during the year with all its coverage, that by ESPY time some people may be sick of it. They bury the great stories by doing so many garbage ones during the year.
  19. seriously, or call the number the NFL gives to all players for a driver. Or a Lyft. Or pay some employee at the bar/restaurant to drive you home. You are risking others lives and your livelihood by doing something like this. Perhaps the NFL should partner w/ UBER or Lyft. All players are signed up. Then, increase the penalty to 4 games at least for DUI. No excuse, could kill someone.
  20. There is almost NO CHANCE the SC takes this case. There is no circuit court split on the issue of deference to an arbitrator by courts, and the 2nd Circuit correctly applied the law. making Brady look more like the sore loser he is day by day.
  21. I like the idea of moving it around. Philly is an odd choice, IMO. Buffalo could do it (I doubt the criteria are anywhere near that of a Super Bowl); Pittsburgh; Green Bay; or any city that has not or could not host a Super Bowl would be a seemingly good way to bring a marquee NFL event to more cities.
  22. oh, now you have to go all "FunPolice" on the OP!
