  1. For some reason the Bills have been notorious for signing their first round picks after almost everyone else. Not sure why.
  2. There are people who are not very confident in Fitz on this board and there are people who think he is good enough to lead this team back to an elite level. There is no point worrying about it and arguing about it. he will we our Qb this year. Fitz will be the one who makes it clear this year if he's capable of being a great Qb or not. If he falters this year, it's time to look for the next starter. If he shows he can do the job and take the team to the next level, we should all be very happy. Barring injury, it's all on Fitz.
  3. I too grew up during the Dolphin era and was at the game when the Bills finally beat them . It was fun watching the goal posts come down. My hatred for the fish have subsided since then, We owned them during our superbowl runs. I hate the patriots more than any team right now. The whole Billacheat thing and Brady's arrogance makes me loathe that franchise.
  4. I have all the afc championship games on vhs tapes. I really need to get them converted to dvd. I was at all the championship games also
  5. Can they really double team all three?
  6. I would not make that trade. I think Fitz makes the Jets a better team than with Sanchez. If Fitzgerald stays healty he will
  7. Good point, let's never talk about a subject that's been talked about before.
  8. He was too cheap to pay for the airfare to Buffalo
  9. I checked, and you're right. But it appears he broke off talks because the Bills were trying to low ball him. So he broke off talks technically but I am quite sure he would have listened if the Bills had made a good offer. It was a negotiating ploy in my opinion. That said, I hope they do sign him now and prove me wrong.
  10. I've stated in the past that I think that Stevie would be gone. Why not test the waters if you're that close to free agency and the Bills did nothing to try and sign you during the year. If he does indeed stay, it would be a surprise. Based on the Bill's track reecord, it would be an about face from past years. I hope the Bills do surprise me and get the deal done but I'll believe it when the contract is signed.
  11. Yes,probably the only way to keep him now is to franchise tag him. Why would he not test the market at this point. The question is why didn't the team make every effort to sign him during the year like they did with Fitz. I'm very cynical about this team and wonder if they are making a half hearted effort just so they can say they tried, blah blah blah.
  12. I'm sorry but I haven't seen a Qb Throwing the ball 20 rows into the seats from the end zone when he's about to get sacked very often. It was the correct call.
  13. I agree with you. If It was me, and as competitive as I was, I could not have partied like that after losing the superbowl. I know it's a game, but still, how does a player party like that after losing the biggest game of his career? I'm not saying it was wrong, it's just hard to understand. If anyone played football in high school like I did, and the team lost a big game, we were devastated and could never party like that. Maybe it's a new generation. maybe they don't care as much. If I was a teammate I would be pissed
  14. yes, plenty of heartbreak to choose from
  15. with proper diet and excercise, fat women can get thin
  16. My rock is heavy.....http://seattle.sbnation.com/seattle-seahawks/2012/2/5/2773511/peyton-manning-injury-update-manning-will-play-in-2012-colts-seahawks
  17. wow, pretty harsh. but i kind of enjoyed it
  18. I don't know about dispicable..but you make a good point, he is taking some of the shine off the game. Maybe he's being a good brother and trying to deflect some of the pressure off of Eli.
  19. He's going to be very motivated and he's arguably in the top 5 of all time quarterbacks. So yeah, I think he will play at a high level.
  20. Since your declarations have so much weight, why not also mention it's time to stop world hunger
  21. Yes, but who is saying he hasn't been able to regenerate his nerves? His surgeoon says he can play.Did his doctors mention he will not have nerve regeneration? Did they mention anything at all about his arm strngth and accuracy? Where is all the worry about nerve regeneration coming from? If his doctor cleared him medically, that means he's capable of playing. Would his doctors clear him if they didn't think he was going to have good results? Clearly they would have told him there are reservations if they felt that way. Unless what Payton is telling people is not exactly what his doctors told him. But i doubt that. Based on what do you have this "likely scenario"? Are you a specialist is this field? As far as I know, the specialists cleared him to resume playing. Based on that I expect him to play and play at a high level.
  22. It's not just that he's cheap. He also runs a horrible football organization. He's run this franchise into the ground. Why does the negativity have to stop? We haven't made the playofs in 12 years. We're the laughing stock of the league. We shouldn't be negative why? Because you say it's time to stop?
