  1. Good Post! Maybe they are talking him up because they want to get as close to full value for him in a trade. I just can't see not showing up for this workout after missing 3 games due to a suspension last year. He let his team down big time last year. You would think he would be the first one here after that. Maybe he has a really good reason not to be here. If not, is there any wonder the Bills are entertaining the idea of drafting Spiller?
  2. let me get this straight..the police smell alcohol from a car that is in the process of being driven and you don't see a hazard? Look up how many deaths are caused each year by drunk drivers. You must be a total idiot or else you drive drunk regularly and don't like being stopped for it.
  3. Gailey came here to fix the offense, so it does make sense he goes offense. But Nix probably feels that defense wins championships. It should be interesting.
  4. News Flash..smelling alcohol from inside a vehicle is just cause....
  5. Trent Edwards getting injured does not mean he isn't tough. It means he's not durable. He may be injury prone, whatever. But he has been willing to stand there and get hit. You need to go back and learn what the meaning of toughness is before you say someone isn't tough.
  6. think back...Peters was not a starter either..so you can't use the "couldn't crack the starting lineup" with nelson has a viable argument. It will take a couple years to know if we got two good players for JP....did you not watch them play last year?..they have some talent and a great upside. And we didnt trade for a "gimpy" guard. Wood was not injured when we drafted him. When Jp missed games at the end of last year due to injury, did Philly trade two draft picks for an oft injured , whiney LT? I would say yes to that question. And it's ridiculous to say his holdout had nothing to do with his injury. Do you rerally think he rehabed that injury the way he should have? I doubt it. We will see in time who got the good deal.
  7. I said i liked what we got..two players with big upsides..for an overpaid LT who didn't want to be here....no one could predict an injury either. Who's to say JP doesn't go down next year? Does that now make it a bad trade for Philly? Its also very telling how JP held out knowing what it was doing to the team. Then he came in out of shape. He had 3 FREAKING years left on his contract. Come to camp and work out a new deal. He put self before team, BIG TIME.. And newsflash...his play in Philly was not pro bowl caliber. 3 time pro bowler my arse. Seems to me we lost with this guy the same as we did without him.
  8. Thats If he is special... You can't pass if he's that good. Do we really want to watch him play for the next 5 years wishing we had drafted him? But he better be a special player if the Bills take him because Nix will be in the hot seat if he drafts this kid. Personally i don't know if he would be special in the NFL, but he sure was in college. This is why Nix gets the big bucks. Lets hope Nix knows talent like he thinks he does.
  9. Are you referring to callers or radio personalities? Because the two on sirius are former players. Either way, I thought it was pretty obvious that Peters didn't live up to the huge contract last year.
  10. why do you say he won't make it? An opinion backed up by sound reasoning may not be agreed with, but can be respected
  11. haven't we been in a nitemare for 10 years?
  12. they needed to release williams so that they could afford a hefty raise for kelsay
  13. where's your sense of humor. It was a joke ..
  14. One years win total does not decide who's doing a better job. The Bills could finish 4-12, Cleveland, 7-9...but in three years we are in the playoffs and Cleveland isn't, who's doing the beter job? Quit being so short sighted.
  15. You apparently didn't watch much football this past year, or else you were listening to too much Jauron. Maybe a combination of the two. The Bills and Jets are headed in opposite directions.
  16. I'm thinking with the lockout looming, the Bills will not go after Mcnab. It appears to me they are in a fold the tent mode. Save money and prepare for the labor dispute. I wish this won't be the case, but it sure appears they are not going to spend a whole lot of money this off season.
  17. my thought is you should read the board thats already been discussed before you post a post thats already been posted...
