  1. Right..you don't judge their draft on who they could have had, you judge it on the performance of the players they did draft. This being said, the Bills have not been good at drafting.
  2. maybe Greggo's coaches don't respect the opinion of an arrogant ass
  3. Too Bad....this team had so much talent..they could have been one of the all time greatest teams but now they are known for being a four time loser..too bad for Buffalo fans
  4. Why reach at a position we already have some strength at?
  5. This is a remark made by a bitter bitter man who has obviously never gotten over his failure in Buffalo. I am sure GW would love to be up here in cold Buffalo still coaching the Buffalo Bills with Drew Brees as his Qb. The comment only makes him seem bitter and resentful. I wonder how resentful he will be after Peyton Manning rips his defense to shreds.
  6. Imagine Sanchez with just about any other line. Sanchez is not very good right now. He is showing improvement, but he is not a proven franchis QB just yet. That Jets team would be winning with trent edwards at QB. THe Jets use great defense and a good offensive line to win, but this team will not win it all, in my opinion. The teams with the great qarterbacks are the ones who win year in and year out. It all starts at QB. The other pieces add to the blueprint. I think Peyton will show the Jets this Sunday that the QB position is most important.
  7. I don't agree, necessarily...drafting the wrong quarterback would be a big mistake..if a franchise QB is there when we pick it would be crazy not to take him. How often does a team get the chance to draft a franchise QB ( Kelly was drafted at pick 14) ? I don't know if there is that type of QB in the draft worthy of a top ten pick. As far as getting the hell beat out of him..that is what you bring in a veteran for..to play until the time is right to put the kid in. But imagine if the Bills did not pick Jim Kelly because they had so many other needs? Even more reason to pick a franchise QB if one is there....since we are not close..we are rebuilding..so it makes sense to start with the QB. Look at Indy when they picked Peyton. They were a bad football team. Where would they be today without Manning? Pick the QB if he is "the man"....but don't reach. He has to be a franchise QB or it is not worth it. So The pressure is on Buddy and his people to find out if there is a QB worthy of the number nine pick . If so, I say take him.
  8. You have a good argument...lets see what the new staff does with Maybin and the others.
  9. I wonder what the return is on 11th overall draft pick busts.
  10. At least Ralph was comfortable with Jauron
  11. he also said this......"And with Mike Shanahan soon earning north of $10 million to coach the Redskins (not to mention $3.5 million in each of the next two years to not coach the Broncos), " ......Am i mistaken or does the responsibility of paying his preveious contract end when he signed that huge contact with Washington? Does this Florio know anything?
  12. I must have missed the part where the Jets and Chargers were playing "for it all"
  13. All your example are of owners who , because of the people they hired, who brought in, developed and coached the product they were selling were successful teams. Look at the yankees...that organization is viewed as a sum of all the years they have been around, through different owners. Apple is certainly a product much more than a single individual. It takes a dedicated team of people to turn around a company. One with a good man or woman running the show, but certainly doesn't do it alone. And any good company realizes that success depends on a good product. They also realise that without the customer there can be no success. So what if they are not a corporation. Why you feel pointing out that they are a privately run entity confuses me. You lost the whole point. The point is what makes a good company, corporation or popsicle stand is one that sells a good product , and realises that they wouldn't be anywhere without the people buying the product. So how is RW a good owner again? Oh yeah, he keeps a mediocre product here and expects us to buy it year after year because we all should be so grateful that he sells us rotten fruit.
  14. No good corporation is the owner..it is also the sum of all those who work there and those who buy what they are selling. I do give RW credit for keeping the team here. But that doesn't mean he is or was a good owner, unless all you care about is having a team. To me a good owner wants to give the customer a good product and a good shopping experience in the process.
  15. That being said, I'm hoping Ralph wants the legacy to continue after he is gone. If the team is sold and moved, the legacy will be gone also.
