  1. Why is Grimm the best choice? I don't see it. He is the running game coorinator. Arizona also has a passing coordinator. From my point of view, it's the passing game that has that team in contention. He does a fine job with offensive lines as evidenced by his stint in Pittsburgh, but where is the evidence that he would be a good head coach? I need more than "I want Grimm " as head coach.
  2. As soon as RW came out and admitted that the Bills had contacted Cowher I knew he was not coming here. It was a smokescreen to let everyone know that they tried " to do whatever it takes" .
  3. No , you're right, he has played bad the last couple of weeks.
  4. No, it's not possible. There will always be those who feel they need to insult. I laugh it off and move on. I do however enjoy the occastion humorous reply.
  5. Guy's contract runs out very soon..I am quite sure he won't be invited back. As far as Modrak, it may depend on who they hire as head man.
  6. Or maybe he's worried about RW's history of putting the emphasis on the bottom line instead of winning.
  7. What about your scenario with a promised timetable where Brian takes over as head man. Then Marty moves to a role of cunsultant or upper management position.
  8. Without talent , no coach will be very good. Buddy Nix is the guy with the pressure. He has to go out and get the players. The Bills have been woefully lacking in the talent department for years.
  9. There isn't really any team there to leverage the Bill against at this time. Unless he's trying to force one of his targeted teams to make a coaching change, which i doubt, he appears to be interested in Buffalo
  10. or...Ralph went public because he wants everyone to think he tried to get Cowher when in reality he had no intention of hiring the guy and giving up so much control. To me it signals another uninspired hire by the Bills. It's a smoke screen. I sure hope I am wrong, but I have that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.
  11. I am still hoping we land Cowher. Imagine the buzz if he come here? Watch the season ticket base reach record levels.
  12. Maybe he declined because he knows that Pete Carroll is going to Seattle and he doesn't want to be the obligatory Rooney rule interview.
  13. Why would that make him a moron? Some people like challenges. I'm sure he would be compensated very well. Also , it probably bothers him how he is viewed as a failure in the NFL. He probably wants to show the world that he can win at the pro level .
