  1. Johnny Cash said it best..."A Boy Named Suh"
  2. Actually the real xfactor this year..Fitz..the team will go as he goes. The defense is in place, so it's on Fitz to make it happen.
  3. Why not also make a poll of how big the Bills margin of victory will be in the superbowl
  4. I'm sure the Pats would have loved to have him back but they will not overpay as the Bills did. The Bills overpaid to get a quality player.I think they have to at this point to get players to come here. The Pats put a value on their players and will not pay past that amount. It's the way they operate. They move on. I suppose when you have Brady, you have more room to run your team that way.
  5. did you mean aberration, not abomination?
  6. I find it funny how you are so quick to blame Polancarz and the democrats for the predicted budget shortfall and the possibility of a tax increase as a result. The biggest issue that has caused this budget shortfall is the deal Chris Colins made with ECMC, declaring "we are out of the hospital business". The County is now responsible to pay the hospital for any shorfall they incur. This Has resulted in an amount far exceeding the amount budgeted for any such shorfall. If Erie County was out of the hospital business as Chris Collins bragged about, the taxpayers wouldn't be in this mess. To blame the guy who just walked into office and inherited this mess is irresponsible.
  7. Can't remember what section, but was lower bowl , 45 yard line with wife, brother and friends. We all wanted to leave at halftime, except my stubborn wife refused to leave. So we stayed and enjoyed the ride of our lives.I still have this game on videotape. A friend in Syracuse taped it. So glad my wife was stubborn. I could barely talk the next day.Great memory.
  8. For some reason the Bills have been notorious for signing their first round picks after almost everyone else. Not sure why.
  9. There are people who are not very confident in Fitz on this board and there are people who think he is good enough to lead this team back to an elite level. There is no point worrying about it and arguing about it. he will we our Qb this year. Fitz will be the one who makes it clear this year if he's capable of being a great Qb or not. If he falters this year, it's time to look for the next starter. If he shows he can do the job and take the team to the next level, we should all be very happy. Barring injury, it's all on Fitz.
  10. I too grew up during the Dolphin era and was at the game when the Bills finally beat them . It was fun watching the goal posts come down. My hatred for the fish have subsided since then, We owned them during our superbowl runs. I hate the patriots more than any team right now. The whole Billacheat thing and Brady's arrogance makes me loathe that franchise.
  11. I have all the afc championship games on vhs tapes. I really need to get them converted to dvd. I was at all the championship games also
  12. Can they really double team all three?
  13. I would not make that trade. I think Fitz makes the Jets a better team than with Sanchez. If Fitzgerald stays healty he will
  14. Good point, let's never talk about a subject that's been talked about before.
  15. He was too cheap to pay for the airfare to Buffalo
  16. I checked, and you're right. But it appears he broke off talks because the Bills were trying to low ball him. So he broke off talks technically but I am quite sure he would have listened if the Bills had made a good offer. It was a negotiating ploy in my opinion. That said, I hope they do sign him now and prove me wrong.
  17. I've stated in the past that I think that Stevie would be gone. Why not test the waters if you're that close to free agency and the Bills did nothing to try and sign you during the year. If he does indeed stay, it would be a surprise. Based on the Bill's track reecord, it would be an about face from past years. I hope the Bills do surprise me and get the deal done but I'll believe it when the contract is signed.
  18. Yes,probably the only way to keep him now is to franchise tag him. Why would he not test the market at this point. The question is why didn't the team make every effort to sign him during the year like they did with Fitz. I'm very cynical about this team and wonder if they are making a half hearted effort just so they can say they tried, blah blah blah.
  19. I'm sorry but I haven't seen a Qb Throwing the ball 20 rows into the seats from the end zone when he's about to get sacked very often. It was the correct call.
  20. I agree with you. If It was me, and as competitive as I was, I could not have partied like that after losing the superbowl. I know it's a game, but still, how does a player party like that after losing the biggest game of his career? I'm not saying it was wrong, it's just hard to understand. If anyone played football in high school like I did, and the team lost a big game, we were devastated and could never party like that. Maybe it's a new generation. maybe they don't care as much. If I was a teammate I would be pissed
  21. yes, plenty of heartbreak to choose from
  22. with proper diet and excercise, fat women can get thin
