  1. I recently went to the Jets/Miami game in Miami. A bad stadium in lots of ways, especially with regard to parking. It took us 1 1/2 hours just to get us out of the parking lot. I think that this aspect of a downtown stadium will be much better.
  2. What does everyone have against Tuel? He has started only one game and was an undrafted rookie at the time. He didn't light it up but he actually wasn't too bad (except for the one obvious bad pass). He has guts & isn't afraid to wing it. He has an average strength arm & is accurate. My guess is that if he played the last year, our record would probably have been not much different.
  3. Sometimes the NCAA gets it right. I can't understand why the NFL doesn't adopt the college rule re: stopping the clock after 1st downs until the chains have been moved. The NFL likes to encourage "fantastic finishes" . well this would do just that. As a bonus, it would pretty much eliminate spiking the ball.
  4. The New Home of Your Miami Dolphins Dear Member, As a Member of the Miami Dolphins, we want you to be the first to know the new stadium details and view images that we are sharing with the public later today. Thanks to Steve Ross’ commitment, the more than $400 million privately funded renovation has begun and will transform Sun Life Stadium into a world-class global entertainment destination. The stadium will continue to serve as home to the Miami Dolphins, University of Miami football and the Orange Bowl. It also will play host to premier events such as Super Bowls, College Football Championships, international soccer matches, festivals and concerts. There are multiple improvements on the horizon that will make your experience better than it’s ever been. Every seat will be replaced with new seats, the sideline seats on the Kia 100 Level will be moved closer to the field, and four new HD video boards will be installed in each corner of the stadium. In addition, we are installing a state-of-the-art, open-air canopy that will shade more than 92 percent of the seats within the new stadium. We’ve also added multiple new seating products and experiences and we’re working hard on ways to improve your ability to get in and out of the stadium much quicker with less traffic. Unlike other new stadium environments, we will not be charging Personal Seat License fees. However, as a result of the seating improvements and resulting changes to the seating bowl and product mix, all Members will be selecting new seats this offseason. We tried to create a process that is as fair as possible. With that in mind, below are a few key details: The order of your seat selection will be based on tenure (consecutive years of Membership in your current account). The longer you have been a Member of the Miami Dolphins, the earlier your seat selection date will be. In resetting the seating bowl, there is a tremendous once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sit with your friends. If this is important to you, we can average your tenure and have you select seats at the same time to enable you to sit together. CLICK HERE to download a booklet of information showcasing all of the new stadium seating options. A printed, more detailed version of this booklet will be sent to you the first week of February that will include pricing, membership options and most importantly your seat selection date. I’m excited for all of you to see the plans and more excited to complete the project and get everyone here to experience the new stadium. Thank you for your commitment and support of your Miami Dolphins. Go Fins! Tom Garfinkel President & CEO, Miami Dolphins
  5. I understand "trust and assignments" when it comes to pass blocking & dealing with stunts. Our rookies looked like rookies. Perhaps this can be coached or learned through experience. But, I don't know what to think about these guys being pushed back into the backfield on running plays. Hopefully, they will learn & get better.
  6. Agree. I would like to add that almost all of the perceived very good to great coaches had very good to great QB's. Fox & Belicheck are very good coaches but what were their records before Manning & Brady? I'm a little too lazy to look it up, but I bet their records were around 500%. Go Bills.
  7. Rivers, when they are down 2 scores in the last few minutes, always lets it rip. Dinking & dunking might get you down field for a score but not 2 scores. There aren't many QBs that will throw to covered receivers even if it is the only chance at winning.
  8. Does anyone think that he may be too old? He's as old as me for goodness sakes.
  9. It seems like Cameron gets a concussion every week.
  10. Puhleeze. Just let him disappear somewhere else - hopefully to the Jets.
  11. Good post until the last paragraph. Please, just show me the evidence that Cutler could " be the guy ". To me, he is simply a moody, surly, overpaid under achiever. The Bears would literally pay us to take him.
  12. Cutler ! Are you serious, K-9 ? Not only is he a bum QB but he is also a moody mal content. Last year, I saw him push his OC away when the OC was simply trying to show him the all 22 pictures after he threw an int. I honestly would rather have Tuel.Cousins seems to have regressed. He looked pretty good last year but this year he took too many chances & threw int's.
  13. He should shut up. He can't beat out the guys ahead of him so he whines. He is just a crybaby. If he was as good as some on this board think, TB wouldn't have given him up for a 6th.
  14. I'll be in Savannah heading for FL. I'm stuck with the Jax game unless I go to a sports bar. Don't like to leave my puppy in a motel room but.....................
  15. Do you know anything about football? Luck would be the 1st player chosen to start a team by ALL 32 GM's.
  16. No reason to be nasty. We could use the $$ savings to sign Dareus & Hughes. Also, IMO Wynn is on the verge of being a stud DE.K is not usually running the Read option - perhaps he should be.
