  1. "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics."
  2. sure hope he's starting when they come to Buffalo . . . which got me to thinking, we cut him--for obvious reasons, should have been done sooner--and now he is a Jet. Is our defense that much better then the J.E.T.S ???? He didn't have a prayer with our D, brought back to help them. Hmmmm ?????
  3. Any homes for sale in that neighborhood?
  4. OK, no big deal. Hard to disagree with most of what he says. Still a lot of work to do.
  5. No!!! Please no! Keep us on the back page. Now we're cursed.
  6. My daughter did a similar thing for me to Miami a few years ago for a combo birthday-Christmas gift. We lost of course (the 5-1 start season), but it was still a great time. Congratulations! I hope the Bills put the "icing on the cake" for you.
  7. Maybe not crashed yet, but not hard to envision how this train could get off track real quickly in the next few weeks . . . and I will love every second of it.
  8. We only deal with facts on this DB, you're going to need to post a picture of your wife before I believe any of the other things you say about Maybin.
  9. Well, I get to be tortured with Dan Dierdorf . . . he is just about the worst in the history of television, every time he talks its like someone running their fingernails across a chalkboard. Thank God for the internet.
  10. Lets be honest, Spiller has been inconsistent at best, he has had one good game (Oakland) in his brief career . . . I want him to be good, but he's very fortunate to have Fred Jackson in front of him. Freddy has covered for how bad (inconsistent) Spiller has been. If Jackson doesn't keep getting better and better with age, there would be a lot of angst toward Spiller on this board. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, he is about one level ahead of Aaron Maybin so far in his career development (that is, when Maybin was at this same time in his short career). Maybin received our venom because he never produced at a position and at a time when the franchise needed him to; and because everyone else was bad, his lack of contribution was just accentuated by that reality--we needed him and got little to nothing. My point: So far Jackson has masked and covered for Spiller--granted, he has given something, certainly more than Maybin ever did, but not much, not what he should have by now. Trade him? NO! But its getting time for him to contribute in a more meaningful and consistent way.
  11. I said it in another thread and it applies here: "Hard to think that a team whose best players are undrafted free agents, 7th round picks, and multi-cut pick-ups from other teams, will take anyone or any team for granted."
  12. Yeah, I agree, or at least I hope that's the case. No doubt he has ben underused so far, but . . . I think playing way ahead or way behind probably has a big say in this, we haven't seen much of what it can be but there is plenty of season to go.
  13. I think they'll all change and we'll bring the the house this weekend: rookie QB, prove to me you can beat the blitz!
  14. Hard to think that a team whose best players are undrafted free agents, 7th round picks, and multi-cut pick-ups from other teams, will take anyone or any team for granted.
  15. Dang, their giving away our secret . . . if the Bills fall back to earth this season, we'll know exactly who to blame
  16. I think he said it's tuned to Rock 107, he likes 80s stadium rock, being a Harvard guy and all
  17. My thoughts on it: Not a big deal. Things change from week to week, and there really isn't much that truly surprises each other in the NFL; it comes down to read, adjust--and make sure you're on the same page when you do (like Ftiz & Fred were on that play), and then execution (which they did).
  18. makes great sense to me
  19. And we kept him in-check, he got yards, but he didn't gash our defense like he did the Jets. He is good, and so is Fred.
  20. Deon called Brady out on that, and I'm by no means a Brady apologist, but the main highlight seems to look like he had an angle and a chance to make a play, but I saw another one from an on-field end zone angle, and that one showed he had no prayer. But it was still beautiful no matter what way you saw it. Regardless, my best moment: 0:00 - Bills 34 Pats 31
