  1. Camp help at best .... Now they need to start working on serious candidates for the back-up spot (I for one, am not convinced that Tuel is the best option for that); consider this, the Eagles will not keep Dennis Dixon on their roster. He has always intrigued me. With Kolb's future in serious question, I would love to see the BIlls take a flier on him as longterm solution for a back-up.
  2. Both Kolb, and this post, getting abused all at the same time. This, my friends, is the TBD team of posters humming on all cylinders .... enough preseason work, we're ready for the real action.
  3. "I know Buffalo played an ugly preseason game yesterday, but they will be much better than the Jets this season. That Jets' offense is ugly." Let's hope
  4. It's TEBOW TIME in Buffalo . . . bring him in and run the read option
  5. Yeah, but she had some liquid courage to help in the rehab. EJ probably won't go that route.
  6. Kolb is Fitz without the gunslinger mentality to make hard throws .... and neither one of them have the arm to make gunslinger throws .... is he the second coming of Trent Edwards?
  7. . . . and back to football, I think our boy Da'Rick just isn't that good, or others have proven better than him -- either way, he loses.
  8. "Dreadful" ??? He will prove to be what he was we traded for him, and what he always will be in the NFL, a good backup who will do in a pinch of the starter gets hurt. Every good teams needs a guy like Kolb.
  9. When I watch Klob, he reminds me of a little less confident Ryan Fitzpatrick -- he'll make some nice throws, he'll make some poor throws, he's athletic enough to move when he has to. But he just does't have that gunslinger mentality that make under-skilled NFL quarterbacks serviceable. Kolb is a career backup, so keep him there.
  10. that would be the best case scenario, hate to see him released, someone will scoop him up
  11. Excellent point(s) ChasBB. The kind of insight and observations that you would expect professional writers and NFL insider-types to be able to easily deduct. While it's still too early to make any definite conclusions or judgments on these picks and the outcomes, so far it appears the Bills out maneuvered all opponents involved. But I've not seen one national writer or reporter do this kind of work and figure out the true winners and losers of draft day. Oh well, "so far so good," lets hope it continues. Time will tell.
  12. It is being shown overnight tonight (3:00 AM I think), DVR it and watch at your convenience. the Indy game I mean
  13. You do mean "Tuel", right? Or was that an intentional Freudianism?
  14. Love the aggressive approach, but then again, everybody but Wanny knew that would help (its really not rocket science). However, still concerned about run D .... too early to tell yet, but certainly positive signs.
  15. Well, it's like my wife said about the Seattle Seahawks when they were wearing the neon uni's last year: "I really like their outfits."
  16. Both are strong candidates at #8, but you know Marrone will take his guy. That's a given.
  17. Isn't that exactly what the Colts did?
