  1. Yes, he should not have been let go the way he was. It will be great day when he is placed on the ring of honor at the Ralph. Nonetheless, glad that Freddie will get to do something he never would have here: play a play-off game, maybe even a super bowl. And I am excited about the prospects of the Bills backfield next year.
  2. Back in Houston: Clowney, JJ, and Mario . . . watch out!
  3. If it was, then t was a terrible decision because Hogan was in front of him, the only person going to catch that under thrown ball was the defender trailing the receiver. Other than that, he had a terrific day. But he has one big problem to work on: 1) Figure out how to throw over the middle. And despite your theory Promo, I think it is more he can't, so we don;t send guys across there.
  4. IK should be the Jets Captain. He is clearly the MVP of that team for taking out Geno.
  5. Good, these night games are way past my bed time.
  6. Ah, remember when the Bonnies almost won the National Championship in 1970? Olean was never better. If you don't, read this: The Last Time St Bonaventure Dominated the NCAA Tournament They really were capable of ending the UCLA streak. I remember watching Bob Lanier fall to floor that day in Philadelphia. It hurts just as much as "wide right."
  7. 12) No quarterback sacks today and not much pressure either. Sometimes it is hard to believe what I am watching. This, I too was thinking. And what's worse, it just seems to be normal for the Bills. How could it sink this low?
  8. Great call Chevy, good for you and for that mom and young man!
  9. IK should be given the Jets MVP award for this season.
  10. Two out of four that actually knew what they we doing, not bad for the NFL, right? What more can Mario want?
  11. It's really not that hard: 1) Keep Woods, he is solid and the nasty streak is a good thing — yes, he does need to mature, but what 22 year old doesn't? 2) Then either draft a big fast guy or go get a sold # two type in free agency.
  12. The London game, specifically the let down of the Defense after the Bils had rallied back to take the lead, then allowing Jacksonville to march down the field and score the winning TD. It was really the clincher in the evidence that this defense was bad, and just didn't have it. If the Bills hang on to win that game, they would still be in the playoff hunt today. And, it would have been a huge momentum changer for the season. Yes, until they out him on the ring of honor, or something, the curse will continue.
  13. Yes! What is so frustrating is how the Coach refused to adjust to the talent and players he had. If your scheme is this complicated, then maybe it's really not that good. And if you check the stats, it really wasn't that good in his last few years in NY either—gives up a lot of points. And in this case, past performance is indicative of future results. He has proven he can't adjust, why would it change now. Time to move on from Rex and his inept coach philosophy/style and coaching staff.
  14. Yeah, that is exactly what this franchise needs. As bad as it hurts, time to admit the Rex hire was a bad hire and move on.
  15. It's just you . . . the coaches and scheme have made him, and all his defensive teammates, look awful. Remember last year, we was a serious candidate for rookie of the year.
  16. Really? Isn't it the Defensive coaches that should be shown the door?
  17. Creative call on that 3rd down! Do they think they Redskins are that stupid?
  18. A reason to watch and hope. Thank You! Being sensible or logical is not a part of the definition of a "fan." GO BILLS !!!!!
  19. Of course, we as fans have a propensity to be overly optimistic. If you check the national media, very, very few had the Bills making the play-offs - most had us at or around 8-8. Which it looks like we will be. . . . If we feel bad, we have only ourselves to blame. What is so hard is how we got there, with a reasonably successful offense, and a terrible defense and special teams; the two units where there were no major personnel change, and yet both digressed significantly. That's what hurts.
  20. Yuuuup! What hurts so bad is that if the Defense was just above average, we would be in the play-off hunt. How could it drop off this far. ANSWER: Poor coaching.
  21. Petting is right—just not NFL politically correct. Wilson is not consistent enough at this point. He is very good, but I would agree, not at the level of the other four.
  22. No, its the curse of Doug Flutie. That was decided here a long time ago.
  23. Yup, just another in a long string of poor decisions. Add to that, the poor clock management by the coaching staff at the end of the first half. When the Bills received the ball with about 3 minutes to go, they had every opportunity to run the clock down to the end, or at the least, run the clock down to very little time left. But, as is so typical and consistent with the general stupidity ethos of this team this year, they do everything they can to not even get points, and to leave a good deal of time to the Eagles, and the result being = 3 points. How much did we lose by?
  24. As well he should …. McCoy is McCoy good folks of TBD. I still remember all the defending of him when he made the "Kelley is a racist" comments. Oh, no big deal. But yes it is, it speaks to his character. And in the heat of the battle, when the pressure is on, when you are needed the most, it is your true character that will guide the outcome. Shady is, well, shady. Like it or not, we'll have to live with it, he's ours now. BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, TBD POSTERS, DON'T TRY TO JUSTIFY IT JUST BECAUSE HE IS ONE OF OURS.
