Of course, we as fans have a propensity to be overly optimistic. If you check the national media, very, very few had the Bills making the play-offs - most had us at or around 8-8. Which it looks like we will be. . . . If we feel bad, we have only ourselves to blame. What is so hard is how we got there, with a reasonably successful offense, and a terrible defense and special teams; the two units where there were no major personnel change, and yet both digressed significantly. That's what hurts.

But, as is so typical and consistent with the general stupidity ethos of this team this year, they do everything they can to not even get points, and to leave a good deal of time to the Eagles, and the result being = 3 points.
