I thought Carter looks strong. Both can boom it in ideal conditions, consistency and the ability to place it when needed are the qualities that separate. Three more games to see.

Think about this and try not to shutter: Ducasse, Miller, Mills, Teller, and Bodine were all regular starters on our o-line last year ? ..... All five are in danger of not having a NFL job in a few weeks. The improvement in o-line personnel alone with make Allen, the WRs, and the running backs so much better this year. Even mediocre results from them will be huge improvement.

I definately want to see what Duke Williams does. I know the other WRs are doing really well--can I dare say, we actually have depth at that position now. But, WIlliams brings an element lacking from the rest of the group, size and strength. I think having the option of someone like him helps the team in the long run.

The pattern of o-line injuries is concerning. The good news, all have time to heal before things get serious.

Yeah, all makes sense to me.

Rex was a clown, we all know that. But why? He did have early success. My theory has always been the game passed him by. His defense was innovative at first, but offenses adjusted, the game changed in his era (rules and philosophy all suited to help produce offense) and he didn’t. More evidence of his inability to adjust is changing a top defensive when he got here to fit his scheme rather than adjusting self to play to his players strengths. The game evolved, he didn’t. He is to coaching what Kodak was to cameras.

Oh well, as long as we have Astro, I’m satisfied.

Thinking the same thing. I have enjoyed SJF. It has been good for the Bills PR, and it gives the fans great access to the players and all, but it seems like the days there are numbered. The Bills now have one of the best facilities in the league, no need to go elsewhere.
