  1. Hahaha! I feel ya. Yuuup!
  2. Agree, but . . . Not KC, we know we can beat them and we know how to beat them: play good defense (just have not done that in the playoffs) As for the Ravens, everyone knows that if you keep Lamar from going off-script, you have good odds at beating them. The Bills are good at that and have had decent success against them. He has also had some regular-season success against us. I say it's 55/45 odds with the lean toward the Bills. You can also add that Harbaugh is not a good game-day coach. Despite the reputation, he makes some head-scratching decisions at times. The Bengals are our toughest team. Why? Joe Burrow is a precision passer, and with a very good set of receivers, he can carve up a defense like the Bills' soft zone. It's close, and the case could be made for all three of them, but I slightly lean towards the Bengals.
  3. A little Biblical wisdom seems appropriate here: Proverbs 29:25 (KJV): The fear of man brings a snare, Or this newer translation (NLT) captures it well . . . Fearing people is a dangerous trap,
  4. This post reminds me of the old saying in Cincinnati, "If it's Brown, flush it down!"
  5. I think it basically says one has a very, very, good Defense that keeps him in games and gives him a chance to win. The other has little to no help from his Defense and has to try to do it all himself. Exhibit A has a Super Bowl Ring. Exhibit B is still chasing the opportunity to get one. And the "between-the-lines" implication: Maybe you should be drafting more Defensive players to help solve this.
  6. The sideshow in Cleveland masquerading as an NFL football team just got more hilarious, so I pick them as the biggest winners and losers in the off-season.
  7. You should; now go down and wash the scummy stuff off in the river. And don't come back here until you do!
  8. Wow, there are some great match-ups for the season ticket holders.
  9. It will soon be an NCAA sport--Women's https://www.ncaa.org/news/2025/2/12/media-center-flag-football-gets-recommendation-to-join-ncaa-emerging-sports-for-women-program.aspx
  10. Oh, clearly he's been reading it. He may even be a poster; I'm trying to figure out which one.
  11. Jets' draft pick WR Arian Smith has one huge issue: 'Hands' https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/new-york-jets/news/jets-draft-pick-wr-arian-smith-one-huge-issue-hands/3ef3c2e0a56dad12fc39a4a4
  12. Which is why he had to transfer to Georgia, his SAT score was way too high to be accepted there out of High School.
  13. That would add some spice to this draft. Get it done, BB!!!
  14. Trade up and get Collins.
  15. Yeah, he has been the one truly awful miss in the Beane era. But it is not an exact science, so overall the grade seems fair.
  16. Analytics is everywhere. I have no doubt they use it extensively, still, as someone in a profession where player evaluation is everything, "gut feelings" (based on years of experience and observation) are usually the final analysis and deciding factor.
  17. Apparently it's illegal in most states: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwarf-tossing
  18. If not Reed (HOF'er), how about another HOF'er: James Lofton? "Lofton terrorized opponents not only with speed and quick hands but also with sheer intelligence; he was noted as a player with an encyclopedic understanding of football." "Widely regarded as one of the greatest wide receivers of all time, Lofton retired with the most receiving yards in NFL history." 1 Speed, Great Hands, Intelligence! The thread can be closed now.
  19. Totally Agree! As always, sound Logic always wins.
  20. I've read a couple of articles on him; I don't think he's a sleeper anymore.
  21. From his father: "Young parents, start talking to your kids at a very early age and make sure they are confident and comfortable confiding in you. Don't be cool with "I'm Alright, or I'm good" when you know deep down something isn't right. Mental Health is real, and for the most part, it's invisible. Don't ignore the signs, even if they may seem small." "Our lives have changed forever, and this will never be ok, but God needed my baby more than he was needed here. This has to be the biggest pill our families have had to swallow but I know the love and compassion in our families will get us through. This will never get easier, but we'll learn to live with it. Check on your kids, mental!!!!!!!!!!!" No parent should have to bury a child. That's not the way it's supposed to work. Prayers to anyone out there who has gone through this. It is something they will take with them their entire lives. If you have, Keep Fighting.
  22. Very good, Dr. Phil. Thank you.
  23. Doug Flutie = 3rd best Bills' quarterback of all time: (1) Allen, (2) Kelly, (3) Flutie!
  24. I hate it when my staff does things like that, but this makes me ponder: Do I need to marry better or hire better staff?
