  1. Seems like it'd be fun...
  2. Did they really, though? I didn't watch, but the box score looks like they engaged the Patriots in a rollicking slap fight.
  3. I think he’s deserving of his own personalized microphone…
  4. Or, If we’re not cherry-picking, Dorsey was 19-9 and the team was 5-5 with a disjointed offense and in danger of missing the playoffs when he was fired… and his current stop in Cleveland has been nothing short of a raging tire fire, though it’s hard to put all of the blame on him under the circumstances.
  5. C'mon, man. Language filters rule. Just ask Dick Van *****.
  6. Maybe we should go back to throwing all the time instead of using the running game so that Allens passing stats can go up and our WR1 can be on pace for 1700 yds while we play 0.500 football. It worked really well under Ken Dorsey.
  7. New England still has a team? My bad. I wasn't aware of that. Do they still have the same awful fans? ...cuz that would suck.
  8. I overplayed my hand. Week 1 - Kyle Williams jersey and faded red Bills hat which is my old standby. Week 2, got caught up pregame and started watching in sweats and a t-shirt and they annihilated the Dolphins. 🤔 Week 3, gotta go with the hot hand… sweats and a t-shirt. Last night… wasn’t sure. Kyle and the hat haven’t been washed in forever (don’t judge), whereas I didn’t know if the sweats and t-shirt were… but they were the hot hand, right? After the Henry run it was clear the sweats and t-shirt were washed 😠 and it was too late.
  9. Sometimes you just gotta take your medicine. It happens. They got their asses handed to them in every phase of the game last night. Coaches and players alike had no answers. Derrick Henry continues to be McDermott's daddy... oh, and Bass shouldn't get any more chances.
  10. Yes... but only if we're talking about Dustin Hopkins.
  11. It's his nose... wait, actually it's his greasy hair... no... no, I think it's probably his voice... hold on, I remember what it was... it was his constant sh!tting on Allen early in Allen's career until it finally became painfully obvious he was wrong and he had to change his tune or risk being known as nothing more than a deliberately obtuse contrarian ass on the subject.
  12. CJ Stroud seems to be able to get Diggs the ball, and he nearly got 100 yards. Shakir only got 72 yards. Clearly it was Diggs who made Allen and not the other way around ~~checks Texans-Vikings score… 👀… frantically but unsuccessfully looks for strikethrough text option on phone~~ 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  13. This thread is Shrodinger’s cat… until Gugny updates us on the outcome, which is analogous to looking in the box, it’s both alive and dead within the confines of the thread… or in Simon’s twisted world, it’s served over rice.
  14. I mean… have you ever considered writing a country song about it? (At first I felt bad that this was my initial reaction… then I read the part about euthanizing the cat and thought… meh 🤷‍♂️) My actual advice would be to give the cat more than a week to adjust to the death of her companion before making a decision on another cat or on euthanizing this one.
  15. That's how you know it's fake... in combination with the profile picture... and the content of the posts... and the self-deprecating stereotyping... and the fact that all four J-E-T-S are spelled out instead of just the first one in their moronic kindergarten spelling test chant... It's a masterclass in "self mockery" to make real Jets fans look stupid.
  16. According to the article it's 10 players per team per week, which, if it's based just on the 53 man active roster, is almost a 20% chance in any given week that an active player will get tested.
  17. Was Ingram quoted afterwards as saying "It could be worse. I could be Floyd Landis... waking up a piece of s--t everyday."
  18. I find the mention of that game triggering. I'm typically pretty reserved in public while watching a game. I was watching that game at a Bills Backer's Bar in NOLA. I was SCREAMING at the top of my lungs at the TV at Cam Lewis "Bat the #$*&ing ball down! You can't go for the INT you stupid $&*%ing moron! They teach that type of situational awareness in mother&*(*^ing Pee Wee football you $*&^*mn stupid mother*&*^^er!!"... or something to that effect. You get the idea. Sorry... triggering... the point being, that time it wasn't your gear.
  19. I started watching the game in a gray t-shirt instead of my Kyle Williams jersey and Bills hat. As I realized it and stood up to change James Cook broke off that 49 yard run. I promptly sat down and enjoyed the rest of the game swag free.
  20. IMO, intended or not, Musk had the right idea at the reveal...
  21. Can't find the clip of Allen stiff arming the Miami LB to the ground by the chest then running over him. Also one of my favorites.
  22. @Avisan, let me re-create the sequence for you that I was responding to. Regardless of circumstances, playing down to inferior opponents and letting them hang around was a frustratingly common occurrence last season. It's why there was rampant talk that McDermott might not make it through the season last season, if you recall.
  23. I think it's consistent with the 2023 Bills getting beaten by the Jets, Broncos, Jags, and Patriots and nearly getting beaten by the Giants, Bucs, and Chargers.
  24. Lost to the Steelers in 2021, beat Rams 2022, lost to the Jets in 2023… I don’t know that I buy into the premise that they’re any more or less prepared under McDermott than any other team to start the season. They had their moments, but ultimately they let an inferior opponent hang around until the very end Sunday… it’s only getting tougher from here.
