  1. There's no room for him to run. Teams know he's not a threat to throw because his receivers suck, so they pressure him and play the run. Before he can take off they've got him by the ankles.
  2. I also saw a guy making mistakes because he was pressing to make something happen, and trying to keep plays alive to give his terrible receivers time to uncover and getting the hell beaten out of him in the process. By not making life easy for him they're also unnecessarily exposing him to injury.
  3. Brady was the passing game coordinator and WRs coach for LSU in the Joe Burrow National Championship season... it's not like he didn't know how to air the ball out. I think this is entirely what McD wants.
  4. None… McD decided we’re going to put our reserve OL on the field in place of the WRs to block for Cook from now on.
  5. Who is catching those 4 TDs per game? Certainly no one on this roster.
  6. If the wheels come off… and after today that’s a distinct possibility… Beane shouldn’t be the person doing the looking. This organization needs a fresh start before it’s too late.
  7. He was also unreliable at being on the same page with Allen when reading defenses on option routes, leading to a bunch of INTs.
  8. Someone check the exact wording… are we sure he wasn’t offering a 1st and a 3rd for a receiver with a waddle because, even with that impediment, he would be able to separate better than Coleman?
  9. I mean, if I’m being completely honest, I’m not sad that I won’t have to embrace that stupid penguin celebration in a Bills uniform.
  10. Based on their 2 losses this season. Based on the fact that they still have to play 4 of the top 10 run defenses in the league at the moment to close out the season. We’ve played two teams in the top 10, NE and ATL, and we lost to both of them. Based on how awful they looked when, for whatever stupid brain fart Brady had, they weren’t running the ball. The Bills have no contingency plan. If a team shuts down Cook or if he gets injured for any length of time they’re screwed. Consider that for a second… a Bills team QB’d by Josh Allen has their SB hopes riding on the health of a 190 lb running back who’s seeing more carries than he has at any time in his career. When he turned his ankle against KC my sphincter puckered in the same way it does whenever Allen gets up shaking his hand or holding his arm for some reason.
  11. And yet Beane reportedly just offered a 1st and 3rd for Waddle at the deadline… if accurate, clearly he recognizes there’s a need. Maybe he was watching the Pats and Falcons game and recognizing there’s a potential problem there if the goal is to win a Super Bowl this season… or maybe he just wanted to shut up irrational fans like me.
  12. Check the league stats for WR production and ask yourself what’s going to happen in the playoffs when elite teams can actually limit our running game.
  13. This entirely. Made more frustrating by the fact the Bills came out of the half and rammed Cook down their throats on the first drive to make it a 1 score game… and then he only touched the ball 4 more times that game. Painfully self-inflicted stupidity.
  14. If he was that intent on acquiring a WR and the 1st and 3rd as reported were accurate, then I also hope he tried to blow teams away with an offer in the weeks leading up to the deadline to avoid it coming down to that. If he hadn’t recognized it by then, the Pats and Falcons games should have made it crystal clear to him that he ###### up. It’s beyond absurd that this hasn’t been addressed by now and our hopes of addressing it this season rely on Gabe Davis coming back and being the best version of himself, which he couldn’t achieve consistently enough for the Bills to see fit to extend him in the first place.
  15. This is just a comment the the busy morning he’s had, right? Right?!?!
  16. Not faulting him on Williams/DL. The WR issue is a mess of his own making, and having it still be an issue and trying to address it at the last minute IS his fault.
  17. I mean, Ed’s played 2.5 games and Hoecht played 1.5, and they were only on the field together in the Carolina game, so they’ve basically generated their pressure on the season without them anyway… You have to wonder if, aside from Hairston, would McDermott have shuffled up his secondary without the injuries to Rapp and Johnson, and does he stick with what worked last week when Johnson is healthy.
  18. I'm not disputing that Sanchez assaulted the man. Reports are that Sanchez body slammed him into a wall and then to the ground on a loading dock. I'm sure there were things on that dock that could have cut the man's face under the circumstances. The reports go on to say, fearing for his life, the man pepper sprayed Sanchez, and when he didn't relent he stabbed him multiple times. This would make Sanchez the stabbee. These are public accounts from the police report. There are no accounts in those reports that suggest Sanchez stabbed the man.
  19. How are people going to get to the mall then?
  20. I'm concerned with defensive injuries and chose the path with offenses that are less likely to exploit that.
  21. If we play like we did Sunday, either scenario is fine. I voted for #5 with Chiefs and Ravens out, though, because we're already thin on defense and any further injuries is going to make containing Mahomes and Jackson/Henry awfully tough.
  22. There's something about his name that rubs me the wrong way, but I just can't put my finger on it... 🤔
