I pointed out on the game thread that there have been other calls this year, not all involving the Bills, where an O lineman swats down the hands of the defender, and gets called for holding. As I posted, the league should have made sure its part-time employees all got the memo that this isn't a penalty. But maybe it is supposed to be a penalty, and all fans and all announcers and all players simply don't understand the rule. Time to pull out Occam's Razor and see what makes the most sense.

I do NOT want the Bills to have a single primary receiver. Kincaid has the talent to be a primary receiver but if we get so there's a The Guy then the defense can take that away. When the Bills have half a dozen guys all working to get open, they're much more effective as long as it's a great QB looking over the field and spotting the open guy.

When the Ravens got their last TD, there was 1:33 left in the fourth quarter. That would have been plenty of time for the Bills offense to get into FG position. Certainly the failed 2 pt try just about ended things, but there was every chance the Bills could have won the game with a late score.

The Ravens tactic is to assume they'll score and get two. Otherwise why bother. So they don't want to leave Josh with time to score at the end.

What on earth was the reason for running Josh in a standard run play.

The refs collected their standard 1 yard tax.

Better that Allen didn't score on that run from the 7. More time off the clock.

I don't think Allen is off as much as the play calling stinks.

Romo keeps saying the Bills have to go "down with Allen". Personally I'd rather them win, however they do it.

Cook could have gotten the edge but the first down was there for the taking.

This feels like the second half of the fourth SB loss. The offense stays in the locker room and the defense can't get stops.

I've seen calls like that holding call in several games this year. It's totally BS. The offensive lineman just pushes an offbalance d lineman down, and several times I've seen that called holding. You'd think the NFL would have instructed its part-time employees not to make that mistake.

Nacua. OMG. The next pass was caught and the receiver was going backward when he went OOB. The clock should have kept going. What a game!
