  1. Did they ever try that with football? I remember they did with hockey, all you heard was the ambient stadium noise. I really enjoyed it, but most people prefer hearing their homer announcers.
  2. For Bills/Jags, yeah. Surprised they didn't grab a couple college interns to do it
  3. Easy vote for me. TT is the QB at least until the Bills are eliminated from the playoffs. At that point see what makes sense preparing for next season.
  4. No, they just aren't !@#$s over a game maybe.
  5. I didn't hate that particular call. If memory serves, it looked to me like the receiver was open and Taylor blew the throw.
  6. CBS with Spread (Bills -7.5): Even split, 4 Bills and 4 Jags. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/against-the-spread/12) CBS Straight Up: All 8 take the Bills. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/12) ESPN: 7 Bills and no Jags with 2 without picks yet. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsoft Cortana: Went 11-3 week 11. Bills 78% chance of winning. (http://www.cortanapredictions.com/) FiveThirtyEight:. Went 10-3 week 11. (it didn't pick a winner in the Monday game) Bills 86% chance of winning. ELO point spread 12.5. (http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-nfl-predictions/) Amos: Went 64% week 11. Bills 60% chance of winning. (http://trevorbischoff.com/2016-amos-nfl-predictions/) FiveThirtyEight has the Bills 2nd in the AFCE with a record of 9-7 (Pats 12-4) and a 26% chance of making the playoffs. Amos has the Bills 2nd in the AFCE behind the Pats with a record of 9-7 (Pats 12-4). For the season so far: FiveThirtyEight has called 63% of the games correctly. Cortana 58% Amos 53% If you did nothing but pick home teams you'd be at 57% for the season.
  7. Illogical as it is, the Browns game scares me if they are still riding the oh-fer then. It is a very Bills-esque thing to do to give them their only win of the season.
  8. It's because without Green they have absolutely nothing else and they lost him for the entire game. The Bills were down Shady for half the game, but they have Gillislee who is nowhere near as explosive as Shady, but he is a decent RB. Without Greene the defense did not have to double anyone and it made everything much much easier. Take the help where you can get it, and losing Green was a HUGE help. The kicker doinking both PATs off the upright certainly helped as well
  9. Green missing essentially the entire game really helped the Bills. They literally have no other options at WR. And it's not like Dalton can carry a team any more than Taylor can. It was an ugly W to be sure, and a very painful game to watch 2 such mediocre teams. But it is a W none the less and gets the Bills back to .500 and still keeps them in the hunt, mathematically anyway. The fish pulled out a win in the last minute. Would have been nice if they had managed to lose.
  10. Everything is in! I also added the season to date percentages for the 3 models.
  11. 6 years in the league is not enough then. Will his ceiling be known before he retires?
  12. Can't possibly know? Taylor had a luxury not afforded to all young QBs in the league, playing behind a good QB and being brought along slowly. When he was deemed ready he made the move to Buffalo and has played in many games now. His ceiling may not be completely identified, but I'd say the general area has been clearly established. Now can Romo stay healthy enough to be an asset and get to his ceiling again particularly with the Bills O-Line, who knows. But it's pretty clear that Taylors general area ceiling is far below Romo's ceiling, IMO.
  13. Summation: Rex sucks at coaching defense and took a top 5 defense and turned it into ****, whereas Schwartz took a **** defense and made it into a top 5 D.
  14. I voted as well, but do you have any Bills fan programmer friends? Have them write a script that votes every few minutes through a proxy. In other words, I think your only hope at this point is to cheat
  15. Nah, this is the "we're out of it" rate. Home opener is the "superbowl Bills!" rate
  16. Uggggggg. Yeah, forgot about that beauty.
  17. He could easily get a cushy TV talking head gig as well. Sitting next to Rex maybe
  18. My wife kind of wants to go with a friend. I told her about your tickets and her response was the prices are coming down on stubhub and she'll wait until people are desperate to dump them. Just another Bills season I guess.
  19. That seems to be how the Bills operate now. I refer you to Marios contract and the crazy Rex Ryan contract.
  20. Did it? Season ticket sales are huge and I suspect they will be high next season as well. All is well at OBD.
  21. I'd rather have Prescott, just sayin.
  22. Enhanced it for you. To the Ryan defenders, Ryan got a dream contract and inherited a top defense. And instead of keeping the strength going he decided, in typical Rex Ryan egomaniac style, to remake the D in his image. With his image apparently being bad unless playing against low caliber offenses. The injuries on the D side of the ball have not been extraordinary this season. Ryan simply turned a good defense into a bad (or at best mediocre) one, simple as that. This is on him, the Pegulas, and whoever else decided in haste that Ryan was the best man for the job. But season ticket sales are up, and that's the important thing.
