  1. I think in-season firings of head coaches as well as OCs and DCs are generally pretty stupid. Even more stupid in the first half of the season. If that's going to be done you do it at a point where the replacement has some time and preseason games to get in sync with the team. Not like how the Bills did it with Roman, 2 freakin games into the regular season. But that being said, I fully expect the next two games to be epically humiliating for the Bills. I mean, BellyCheat just beat the Texans 27-0 with a 3rd string rookie QB for gods sake. If the Pegulas would fire their OC after 2 games in the regular season, they may be embarrassed enough after these two games to **** can Rex, who knows at this point. Rex's saving grace may be the dumb contract he was given. The Pegulas may not be embarrassed enough to keep paying Ryan so much money after firing him early on. It would make them look stupid as well.
  2. None. Pretty much the only football at all that I watch is the Bills. The game itself has lost it's appeal to me.
  3. I would expect a Pats W if Jimmy G. was healthy and playing, but not a blow out the way he played the first 1.5 games.
  4. The obvious, though disgusting, answer is they thought they had a top-flight QB already.
  5. All the picks are in. They all disagree with the loyal souls in the other thread that are picking the Bills by as many as 18
  6. Well I'd guess some were betting the Bills and they wanted to even the betting out a bit. Teams generally play better right after a coaching shakeup for whatever reason, maybe that's why the betting happened? I don't know, but it's hard for me to see how the Bills manage to keep it within a touchdown this game.
  7. Actually not that crazy of an idea. Not MASC, but a talking head on one of the network pregame shows. He has the right personality to be popular there. And the buyout makes it an even more attractive opportunity for him. He gets to sit around eating bar food and talking football and get paid well to do so ... on top of the Bills still paying him. And not have to worry about saying or doing the right thing. Doesn't get much better than that.
  8. As odd as that sounds, I don't remember people thinking the season was over 5 days and 2 games into the season when they were here.
  9. Maybe this is Rex's master plan ... absolutely no one so far has taken the Bills, even with 4 points in 8 cases. He is lulling the Cards and Pats to sleep by sucking the first 2 games and firing the OC 2 games into the season. Beating both the Cards and the Pats as the Bills run the table the remainder of the season!
  10. If the Pegula's are the ones that hired Rex and gave him that contract which has been reported by some, then hell yes. Otherwise I haven't seen any evidence.
  11. Added most of this weeks picks.
  12. No way in hell at the current price for Taylor. The Bills should be able to keep him for far far less. It's not like teams are going to be in a bidding war for him the way things are going now.

(http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-nfl-predictions/) Amos: 63% week 2. Bills 15% chance of winning.(http://trevorbischoff.com/tag/prediction/) USA Today - Jeff Sagarin: Cards favored by 3.28. (http://sagarin.com/sports/nflsend.htm) FiveThirtyEight has the Bills tied with the Fish for 3rd in the AFCE with a record of 6-10 and a 10% chance of making the playoffs Amos has the Bills in 3rd in the AFCE ahead of the Fish with a record of 7-9. The models were feeling the love for the Bills the first two weeks, but it seems the honeymoon may be over.
  14. Size is pretty important for durability if nothing else if you are a running QB. And Newton has shown he can stay in the pocket and be effective. TT is not in the same universe as Newton, at this point in time anyway.
  15. So you are saying forcing him to be a QB.
  16. Jimmy G isn't ruled out for week 4. If he sits thursday which is likely I wouldn't be surprised to see him play against the Bills. Houston would be a hard win for them without Brady. The Pats should be able to protect their QB well enough against the Bills to let him play.
  17. The worst part is that it's true, and the Bills seem powerless to reverse the course.
  18. Mine was a very short lived one. It was the moments leading up to wide right. I was at a party with all Bills fans. As the FG team was going onto the field everyone was standing and going crazy, screaming, high fiving, the feeling that the Bills were FINALLY going to win the big one was just euphoric. Even the "plus 1's" in attendance that weren't football fans at all were caught up in the emotion of the moment. It was unreal. Then after the kick everyone just collapsed silently into their chairs for what seemed like hours at the time. But the moments before that !@#$ing kick I'll never forget. I just hope that someday I'll have a moment like that, with a different result, to share with my family.
  19. If the Pats are down to their 3rd string rookie QB for that game then Ryan starts TT. TT just might be able to lead the offense to enough points to win in that case and if the Bills beat the Pats maybe Ryan lives to coach another season, If Jimmy G can go then he might start EJ because it gives him an excuse for losing to the backup QB to go along with his rookie OC. How can this season be so !@#$ing terrible this early.
  20. False bravado, where you cannot back it up, it what Ryan has and has always had. And false bravado is nothing but diarrhea of the mouth. I wish he would just STFU completely and at least attempt to do his job competently. I know he was hired largely for his personality, to get butts in the seats and fans fired up, but it's already very old with me.
  21. Crack rots your brain man.
  22. 538, my favorite model, gives the Bills a 40% chance of winning and a ELO point spread of 3.
  23. Yeah that's what I read. The 6 week thing was someone's speculation based on how the hit looked. NFL Network ‏@nflnetwork 29s29 seconds ago UPDATE: @MikeGarafolo reporting Garoppolo suffered sprained AC joint in throwing shoulder. Hopeful for WK4 return.
  24. Is it a given Jimmy G. isn't playing? From what I read the xrays were negative and he was unlikely Thursday. Listed as day to day.
