  1. "It starts with one" (OK I cheated and saw the commercial tonight on TV )
  2. Borrowing a line from Stephen Colbert ... "Not Belichick and Brady's c__kholster anymore!"
  3. Sell out the season tickets or we are going to kill this puppy.
  4. A lot of NBA fans think the opposite, now that they have had that for several years.
  5. Plus harder schedule. Still have TT at QB. Shady a year older. Rookie HC. Sammy a big ?????. 6 is right where I would put them. That's a no bet number for me. If you think they are being shortchanged, your path is clear. Take the over. But my money stays in my pocket
  6. That's brilliant. Mail it in so no team will want you.
  7. What about a couple that made a lot of money from hydro-fracking for natural gas and no experience with either sport picking GMs for professional football and hockey teams do you love? Particularly right after an absolutely epic whiff on a HC for the same football team? There is a monumental difference between nothing to do with a hiring and everything to do.
  8. He can't ... his mouth is usually full when he is with Terry Pegula.
  9. Deflated balls? They do love the 2 word slogans for the car magnet things they give away at camp. "Balls Deep" works for me! As does "Bend Over"
  10. Buffalo Bills tailgating ... come get your drunk on
  11. That right there is a giant reason for Bills and Sabres fans to start (continue?) drinking heavily.
  12. Rookie HC, no GM, owners making the decisions (Bills and Sabres), Brandon still involved (Bills and Sabres). Except for the hope that the new HC turns out well and the seemingly good draft (and the two 1st's next draft), at first glance it looks like ineptitude at it's finest. My football fan friends from all over have been laughing their asses off since Whaley and the scouts got the axe right after the draft. It could go very well for the Bills, and the Sabres too for that matter. Lightning could strike and god may look down on the Bills and smile. After all, they say God loves idiots - that's why he made so many of them. We'll know a bit more when a GM gets hired. And a lot more after the next draft. The wise and tough decision, IMO, is if he would recognize he doesn't have any !@#$ing idea what he is doing and hire someone who does for both teams. Not name goddamn Brandon president of both teams and continue to hire people himself.
  13. But you are forgetting the one they should win, but lose.
  14. Blind leading the blind. Awesome.
  15. WTF are you talking about? He has a BS in petroleum and natural gas engineering. Basically how to drill and frack.
  16. Who gives a **** about the Browns? Right fan base for that if true.
  17. How do you get caught getting away with something?
  18. Damaged goods. Coming off another foot surgery. For that kind of value if you think he will be healthy, you pick up the option and hope he has a great and healthy season then trade him. Highly doubtful anyone gives a first for him now.
  19. First year HC and new staff. No clue who the GM will be. Marginal QB. You are a year too early. Why not us? 2018 Playoffs I'll buy. This draft sets up nicely for that.
  20. I don't care what they think either. But they care because the Pats play the Bills twice every season. And is why some Bills fans read their boards to see what their fans think. It is easy to see why they consider the move inept. The Bills hire a HC, then fire the GM instead of hiring a GM first to help pick his HC. And by the way, fire the GM and scouting staff after arguably the best Bills draft in quite some time more or less just to "shake things up". Maybe if you suck for as long as the Bills have, you take a shot and do something crazy looking for lightning to strike. As Bills fans we hope that happens. But you can't blame non-Bills fans for seeing it as inept.
  21. It seems to me you would hire a GM, then let him come up with a HC that he can work with. Rather than hire a first year HC and let him pick his boss. That, to me, seems ass backwards and broken. But it is Pegula, and the Bills. Hope it works out and we aren't doing this same dance in a few years. Loved the draft for the most part though. Good stuff whoever was in charge. Plugged some bad holes and really sets up the next draft nicely.
  22. 3 seasons ... 2 if the stars align just right.
  23. Pretty simple. If Mahomes turns out to be the elusive franchise QB it was a fantastic trade for KC and the Bills are the dopes that didn't take him. But if Mahomes flames out then KC made a much bigger blunder than the Bills did with the Watkins trade up. It will be a few years until we see which it is. But in the meantime, the Bills are setup for a hell of a 2018 draft and still are managing to plug a few holes in this draft. And should have a chance at a "franchise" QB themselves next year. A sound, conservative move IMO.
  24. I felt this way initially about the same player since he was still available, until it occurred to me that the Bills are rebuilding. So getting the extra 3rd in this deep draft along with a solid corner and the extra 1st next season would seem to be a very solid move for the long term.
