  1. Writing off this season and getting ready for 2018 and beyond.
  2. OK you win (except for the Ice, Molson Ex for me )
  3. Just another night. Watch hockey and basketball.
  4. Call me crazy, but I trust the evil hoodie and the Pats organization in general opinions over a bunch of !@#$s on a message board. Particularly a Pats message board.
  5. Man I certainly hope that's not true.Hiring a HC because he "displays the leadership traits of a HC". Yikes, but I guess it would be a Billsy thing to do.
  6. The ultimate homer post, well played
  7. FWIW, Pegula vehemently denied, and got mad when pressed on it, tanking with the Sabres during the presser.
  8. I listened to the Pegula Sabres presser this morning and he says the past doesn't matter ... so there. Also said he was going to be more involved in the hiring of the Sabres GM and HC, then got irritated when someone asked him if he was going to be more involved hiring the Bills new GM
  9. For me to look like a professional organization. It's been a dysfunctional clown show at OBD for too long now.
  10. My favorite part was the "discussion" about how the Sabres tanked on purpose but still suck. Classic.
  11. Most likely none. But will watch them all on TV.
  12. One 4PM start, love that! Understandable, but why in the world would they put the Bills on more in prime time?
  13. Why would anyone bother to cover a pre-draft presser? Are they expected to lay out their draft strategy and display their board? Geez
  14. That's the litmus test? I just threw up in my mouth a little.
  15. And the GM too for good measure? More likely Bylsma and Murray sealed their own fates with how the team has performed.
  16. Yes they are. 5th Sabres coach is it since they bought the team in 2011?
  17. Lindy for GM and he hires his coach. Ruff didn't not accept an extension in Dallas and lives in the B-Lo still
  18. Hard to argue with his success.
  19. Yes, when you are a run first team and your main RB will be 29 when the season starts.
  20. Well, sorta, right? Isn't a big part of a GMs job retaining the good players? At least as many as feasible. Some that go from a rookie contract to a big $$$ one you might need to lose. But a bad GM would have so much money tied up elsewhere that they can't resign someone like Gillislee to a moderate contract.
  21. Absolutely correct and I doubt anyone would say otherwise. But this logical reasoning doesn't take into account that the GM, ownership, and teams reputation is on the line (at least in their minds). Dumping a player you spent 3 picks on, 2 of them firsts, does not look good on a GMs resume for example. Politics, like it or not, factors in.
  22. Nearly 2 decades of suck tends to do that to people.
  23. Which is also one of the considerations, can they use him in that way with the current QB situation and given the fact that they may well be a run first team again. I'm not saying they shouldn't pick it up, just saying it might not be such a "no brainer" except for the trade up consideration.
  24. That's the key. He is certainly has not been a top 10 even receiver, particularly last year for that reason. And he is coming to camp recovering from yet another off season surgery. Depending upon the contract numbers, who they think they can get in the draft, free agency, and how much a top receiver is worth with the current QB situation, it may or may not make sense to pick it up. However, it is a no brainer that the Bills will pick it up because if they do not, the trade up for him looks even worse than it does already.
  25. Sexy Rexy about the playoffs ... "pack your bags, we're going". Far too many bought that hook line and sinker and how'd that work out? Talk is cheap, pointless, and quite frankly embarrassing.
