Funny how different peoples views can be. I witnessed a discussion last night about when Derek Anderson would re-enter retirement. At halftime Sunday, or after the game.

The Bills D should be able to handle the Colts just fine, with or without Hilton. The game will depend on how many points the Bills O can score ... both for the Bills and the Colts.

There is logic behind the sarcasm. The NFL is all about money. Most of their revenue comes from TV contracts. TV contracts go up and down depending upon ratings. Non hard core football fans will like a shootout like last night and not like 12-9 games. Do the math.

I agree as well, I do not want either fired. But negativity isn't completely unwarranted when it comes to to the entire Bills organization as a whole is my [only] point.

Fair enough, there is. And some is deserved to be sure for what is happening with the offense this year. But what has happened with the defense is also on them. With the same record the team had many times during the drought, but yeah they did what they needed to and backed in.

And it wasn't the fault of the regime before them, or the one before them .. ad infinitum (or is that ad nauseam? Or both?) ... The "negativity" is towards the Buffalo Bills as a whole, over the many many years. Not just the people sitting in the offices right now.

He looked good standing on the sideline and a couple throws. Pretty much it. Don't get me wrong, he could be very good someday if he develops. But he is no where near ready to be playing now.

I listened to espn sports radio driving to work today, Eli was definitely not getting a pass ... not in the least.

A Rochester sports director said last night that Watson is listed as questionable and was limited in practice yesterday, but said Watson himself said he is playing. I doubt anyone with a punctured lung would be practicing at all, and he did finish out the last game with whatever is wrong with him. We'll see. No matter who their QB is, I think the Bills D will do a good job. The problem is with the Texans D line and the Bills O line, I'm hoping Josh and Shady stay out of the obituaries.

Amen to that. Clowney and Watt versus the Bills O line is the stuff nightmares are made of.

It won't be on in any bars if that's what you are hoping for. NFL gamepass is a streaming service available outside the US only and they have a 7 day free trial. Sign up there, or sign up before you go if you have a VPN and watch on your phone or laptop or whatever. Wifi is everywhere there now particularly in the hotels. But honestly if you have never been there, for gods sake don't waste an entire evening watching the Bills in your hotel.

I was figuring on 7-9 to 9-7 with Allen on the bench for at least the first half of the season. Draft or acquire a competent OL and a couple WRs off season. Not a lot to hope for, but looking like I won't be getting the first two anyway.

Some think that since the Bills have been mediocre (at best) for a very very long time, buying seasons is their way of supporting the team and helping to keep them in Buffalo. Ideally they would get their money back on the games they cannot go to, but that's less important than what they feel is team support.

If I had a solution I'd be making millions of dollars a year as a GM.
