  1. Comes with the $100 million territory. Man I'd love to visit that territory even for 1 year.
  2. Refs are human and will not see everything. Couple that with the amount and extent of rules in the NFL being borderline absurd and you get what you get. But then why is it assumed by the select few that bring this up week in and week out (even after wins) that all bad calls go against the Bills?
  3. Or one could say that instead of the D making adjustments (which I really am not sure they did) they just played two teams worse than the Bills that made them look better. You are right though, it is too early to pull the plug on the season. I'm shocked that the D line continues to play so poorly and I can't help but think that sometime this season they come around and at least LOOK like the high priced beef that they are. We keep hoping and therefore watching.
  4. Man the conspiracy theories here know no bounds. They need clear evidence to overturn a ruling on the field. No one could say the knee definitely touched. Yeah it may have looked like it based on what the turf was doing at the time, but it has to be clearly seen to overturn. Simple concept that can be hard to accept when looking for excuses other than the obvious for a loss.
  5. Both of these are actually correct (except maybe the genius part). Gailey saw both Jackson and Spiller work all week. He should have seen that they were not ready to go, But not only chose to play them, but also not switch to Choice once he saw the issues during the game as well. If Spiller and Jackson would have shined, that would have been interpreted as Gailey seeing they were able to play at a high enough level, as any coach at the NFL level should be able to do. So in summary, if they played well then Gailey is not a genius, but rather a coach that can see if a player is capable of playing or not. As it turns out, either Gailey is not capable of determining that, or was so desperate he played them anyway. You make the call.
  6. "The refs screwed us" is the battle cry of a perennially crappy teams fans and has to get old to everyone at some point I would think.
  7. That 17% must be all pats*, Jets, and fish fans.
  8. Look again, the low lineman barely touches Fitz. And as far as the helmet to helmet on Fitz, if the QB does not slide (and I wish to God Fitz would slide more) he is a RB, and that kind of contact is legal on a RB. There is no point whining about officiating. The Bills got spanked and embarrassed. Time for SF now.
  9. They are actually staying out west for the week.
  10. I think you underestimate Miami a little. They gave AZ all they could handle Sunday and Tannehill seems to be improving weekly.
  11. Law of Averages: Belief that an event is "due" to happen: For example, "The roulette wheel has landed on red in three consecutive spins. The law of averages says it's due to land on black!" Of course, the wheel has no memory and its probabilities do not change according to past results. So even if the wheel has landed on red in ten consecutive spins the probability that the next spin will be black is still 50%. Similarly, there is no statistical basis for the belief that a losing sports team is due to win a game or that lottery numbers which haven't appeared recently are due to appear soon. This sort of belief is called the gamblers fallacy.
  12. Thanks. I think this place needed a dose of "17 and 2 baby!!!!! ".
  13. Winner, and probably true.
  14. http://www.ninersnation.com/2012/10/1/3436770/49ers-vs-jets-injury-report-brandon-jacobs-isaac-sopoaga
  15. Fred: 13 attempts, 29 yards and 3 receptions for 50 yards which isn't bad. CJ: 8 attempts, 33 yards and 2 receptions for 5 yards. Should not have been out there and the Bills are very lucky they didn't lose one or both of them for the season.
  16. NFLShop.com seems to have Gilmore. http://www.nflshop.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12947417
  17. I could not disagree more. Choice is far far better than either Spiller or FredEx was on Sunday. Gailey showed just how desperate he was by playing them Sunday and just how unwilling to acknowledge his mistake but using Choice once it was evident that both Spiller and Jackson were too injured to be effective.
  18. Ouch. Even worse than I thought.
  19. I sure hope you aren't a gambling man.
  20. "Can I call you for coaching advice?" "They still have to pay me, even after that game, right?"
  21. I cannot point to one single thing in his entire career that makes me think he is a fantastic OC,
  22. Not to worry. If by some chance the Bills beat SF Sunday then this bipolar board will be with you again
  23. Don't worry, you still play the Bills twice
