Well technically assuming both teams sell out all home games ... Ralph capacity 73,967 * 8 home games = 591,736 FNC capacity 19,070 * 41 home games = 781,870 I do agree that the Bills have more fans in the area than the Sabres do. But I think it is probably a lot closer than you might think. The Sabres consistently draw very large TV audiences, even when they suck like recently. I can tell by your posts that you do not care for hockey and that is fine. But be that as it may, Buffalo is a very strong hockey market. There is no question about that.

Here's how we save the Bills if they're sold to JBJ

Bills officially for sale - let the bidding begin!

Obviously it doesn't matter how I answer as it has been going on since Mr. Wilsons passing -
Yup, exactly. The Sabres development camp was this week with lots of open practices and an open scrimmage that was streamed live. The Bills had ... players carrying TVs to their dorm rooms at SJF. If the OP and others don't like WGR, then why do you keep listening?

Nothing ever adds up when 100% of the process is behind closed doors. We don't have a clue as to what really is going on. All we can do is wait and see. -

The NFL has already declared their desire to go international. And it makes sense as expanding their market seems to be the only way for them to continue to grow revenue. A team in Canada, and particularly Toronto due to its close proximity to the US, would seem to have the best chance of success over a place like London for example. If a team cannot succeed there, they can pretty much forget Europe. If a team in Toronto did fail, the team could just be sold again and/or move to another location in the US and the NFL would have valuable information regarding its international expansion plans. -

Wouldn't it make more sense to suggest something that is both possible, and may help the end goal of letting the NFL know there will be no support for a lame duck Buffalo Bills? Something like having all season ticket holders and multi-game package buyers tell or write their reps that should the team be sold to an out of town buyer they would immediately cancel all support for the team. This at least would tell the team/trust/NFL something. What you suggest is simply asinine. Of course even my counter proposal will have no effect. The members of the trust are not stupid, and neither are the 31 NFL owners or the potential buyers (or their advisors). Assuming a new owner can't afford to move the team for 7 more seasons, all parties involved are well aware of the potential financial consequences of their actions and the worst case scenario would be accounted for in their business plans. It's not a matter of 99% of the people here being unwilling to take action. Rather that 99% of the people here choose to use their brains. -
Are you kidding? London is a great city. I lived there for a year when I was in my early 20's and I loved it. Given a choice between spending the season in Buffalo or London any non-WNYer with half a brain takes London in a heartbeat.

I don't know how this is going to play out any more than the rest of you. But man JBJ is sure getting a lot of press about this. -

I agree. But speculation was that due to the "requirement" of staying in WNY, JBJ and the Toronto group were no longer serious bidders. -

Interesting. -
As awesome as that would be, I'm afraid the answer is no. FIFA arranges it so each country has their own leagues. So Europe for example, can also have an additional league comprised of all the champions of the various countries. We are stuck with MLS I'm afraid. The quality of it is improving year to year, but it has a long way to go before it is world class.

With some creative scheduling they could probably make this work, and increase their TV revenue at the same time. Keep the same number of games in the season, but expand the calendar time that the season is played. This would give some (if not all, depending on how they want to do it) teams 2 weeks between games. This has the ability to: 1) Account for extra travel time for overseas games. 2) Give players extra time to recover from the inevitable injuries, 3) If they do it properly, they could have some games every Sunday with teams on alternating schedules. Thus putting games on TV more Sundays and increasing the TV revenue. Not sure how well this would work, But my point is, they have options to make overseas teams viable.

The list is posted here, but it isn't there yet. Not sure when they post the list. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/training-camp/autograph-zone.html -
That could also be mandated by the bar. Don't want to alienate any potential fan customers.

But makes directv very happy. That's a lot of sunday ticket viewers;)

It is. It would be way overcrowded without tickets due to the people that can go after work. -

No stands per se. But they force you to walk through a Bills Store to get from the bus drop off to fields There are food stands though where you can get water and pizza etc. -

The closer field, the football one, is where most of the activity is so you generally don't need to walk the full path of the red line in the picture. One more thing, since you have a 4 year old, right along the red line in the picture about at the end zone of the football field, they have a play area for kids that has football themed games and bouncy house type of stuff for young kids. Kids love it One caveat though, I believe they did a bunch of work there since last camp so the layout could be very different now. -

They have in years past. But a lot of times it depends upon who is working security at the tent. I think officially the kid needs to be old enough to be in there on his/her own. But if you are polite and ask I suspect they won't give you a hard time. If it is a very popular player like FredEx you will want to get there plenty early. The players are only in the tent a short time and if the line gets too long for a player they stop allowing people in it.
