  1. Then we are even. Because for the life of me I can't understand how anyone could be convinced that the Bills cannot possibly be moving. I mean, even the people directly involved with the process do not know that at this point, much less fan board people. Personally I think Pegula is the frontrunner and he would certainly keep the Bills in Buffalo if anyone would. But at this point, this is purely a guess on my part. Personally I think of it as he doesn't want to !@#$ the people of NY up the ass by allowing fracking like they did in PA.
  2. There are other threads that show that even in the glory years, late season games had a hard time selling out.
  3. You can park anywhere and people will be friendly if you are. You can also park at (if you are there early enough) or wander over to hammers lot and hang out there as well if you like. As FluffHead was saying, the people in the club seats tend to be considerably more reserved than the rest of the stadium. So if you want to stand all game and scream like a wildman then the clubs are not for you. If, however, you like to be comfortable then the clubs may be a good idea. Most of the club seats have an indoor area you can be in as well as a outdoor seat, some with an overhang for protection and some without. One thing about the Ralph, whatever you like in terms of seating you can pretty much get.
  4. The Bills have trouble selling out late season games now as it is. Pulling the Canadians away to support a Toronto team would mean almost sure death for the Bills.
  5. No more far fetched than a few of the other claims here lately. Tis what happens when the entire process is behind closed doors.
  6. $10K per game ... sign me up!
  7. i understand you, and you make a compelling case as well. But I think the chance is 0%, not 3%. These businessmen owners are used to dealing with politicians. And one of them, one Charles Schumer in this case, putting on a show and rattling his sabre for the press isn't going to frighten them in the least I don't believe. Yet another reason I wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall during the owners meetings and their conversations. To know what they are really thinking.
  8. I suspect he knows that this isn't a one-and-done bidding process. It is widely believed that the trustees will pick a couple bidders they like, then pit them one against another to get the best price they can. I don't see Trump being able to stay in that game with the likes of Pegula or the JBJ group. And I think he knows that as well.
  9. My thinking is 180 degrees from this. There is no way, in my opinion, that politicians across the US would vote for removing the anti-trust exemption for the single fact that the most important thing to them, is their own re-election. And doing something intentionally that hurts, and maybe even kills, the nations most popular sport and pastime for the sake of keeping a team in Buffalo NY? No how, no way in my opinion. I don't care how many friends Sen. Chuckles has, he is not going to convince the number of his colleagues he would need to pull that off to commit political suicide like that. And the NFL and it's owners, big time businessmen most of them, know that full well.
  10. Sticky lips I think you mean. Not bad but a 6 hour ride, nah How astute of you to realize my kids can be bought!
  11. If they move it indoors they do not do the tent. Good luck with the jersey. My oldest is too old for the tent this year and he is trying to get his siblings to take his ball in with them. The last bid I heard was doing the siblings chores for 3 days. They are driving a harder bargain than the Bills trustees
  12. Unless they cancel practice my family will be there the next 2 days. Sammy in the autograph tent tomorrow and Spikes the next day. Two they don't have yet
  13. Except for the bolded I agree with you. I still have to think Pegula is the frontrunner out of everyone that we know about so far.
  14. So the only thing that matters (or at least should matter) to the trustees is if the new owner would keep the Bills in WNY. Bidding price be damned I guess huh. Well, Chuckles is nothing if not his own best PR man
  15. Hahahahaha. I just got done eating 2 then clicked on this thread
  16. Not sure if anyone posted this or not, but the rain was pretty bad yesterday with some localized flooding. They ended up moving practice from 8am to 6pm because of the weather. I haven't heard anything about today, but it isn't raining now. And so far they still list practice at 2pm today.
  17. It certainly is long. But no information, just basically as you say, F Bon Jovi. And with lines like "the protest seemed to have gotten Bon Jovi’s attention", it's a little hard to take seriously.
  18. This is just pure silliness Hopeful, the theory is that some people here have inside information. They can make some statements, but not with enough detail as to give away the source of the information. It's like with a large part of religion, you either believe or you don't.
  19. Of course. But it makes Bills fans feel better right now, which I believe is the main intent.
  20. Manuel is not in the same category as P. Manning, Ryan, Brees, Stafford, Brady or Flacco.
  21. That's usually how the game is played in the NFL. The difference this time is any new ownership are going to have their hands fairly securely tied for a number of years until the current lease runs out and won't be able to play the game effectively until then.
  22. For me, I believe they would keep the Bills in Buffalo for as long as it made economic sense.
  23. I think mainly because he is in his contract year and a lot of people figure he won't be back anyway, so get something for him now while they can. Plus some think he flat out sucks Personally I don't think his single fourty yard run surrounded by his 10-15 little or no gain runs are of a lot of value. And so far anyway, that's all the Bills seem to be able to get out of Spiller. If they think they can get more than that out of Spiller this season then keep him and hopefully they can resign him. Otherwise if someone offers a 2nd for him, take it and run.
  24. Of course they would for the right price. What passes for "news" anymore is amazing. Now if he had information worth announcing like team X was interested and the price was <insert draft pick numbers here> that's great. But the Bills "may" be interested. Come on man, show a little professional pride and put a little effort into it.
