  2. Yeah but, how do you really feel about Flutie ?
  3. At a racetrack, they are called "touts".
  4. Thanks for the response. We thoroughly enjoyed England when we visited three years ago, the year the Bills were there.
  5. Gunner, were you ever a QB or coach ? I've always thought that the NFL ought to allow teams to designate one player on the Practice Squad, - probably a QB - as untouchable. This would allow teams to carry a young QB, & develop him without fear that he will be signed away. Not trying to hijack the thread, but just a thought.
  6. Agree with this. But, just wondering - how does Cleveland know that we won't take their guy, Allen ? Would it be possible, as part of the trade, that we agree to take Darnold, and if so, is it enforceable ? Could the agreement be somehow recorded in the League Office ?
  7. Yep. This should be the Bills' position. Have his agent , if he still has one, try & negotiate a trade. If the agent is able to do that, then the Bills have another option.
  8. Ya know - 6'3 & 213 lbs is not skinny. 6'3 & 213 lbs is ripped. He would also be the fastest guy on our team. And, like you say, he can easily add 7 or 8 lbs. I would prefer a trade up but I would be very satisfied with Lamar at #12.
  9. IMO, he will be playing for the Bills this year.
  10. Murphy is one of the brightest guys around.
  11. Agreed. I would use our draft capital for Darnold & sit him for a while. If for some reason we can't move up, I would be very happy with Lamar. I know that most on this board just see another TT, but I think he will turn out to be the big positive surprise this draft. It is all academic because imo Beane is going up this draft with Pegula's blessing.
  12. I agree. The kid has played QB since grade school. It would take him all of one practice to relearn the position from under center. Of course to become proficient, he would need repetitions. I think that not playing under center is one of the least important minuses when they evaluate QBs.
  13. It may have been his second season, but it was still his first few games that we are talking about. They won two of those games and would have probably won the Playoff game had not his RB fumbled while trying to use clock near the end of the game. From what I remember, the Pittsburgh pass rush was all over him the whole game. Tough position for a kid in his first playoff game. No need to be snarky re: my mentioning of Peyton Manning. I was just trying to show an analagous situation regarding even future Hall of Fame QBs. Of course, I thing that you knew that.
  14. A young kid playing in his first four games, one being a playoff game. Probably not much worse than Peyton's first four games. We shall see.
  15. Hold your thumb and index finger about two inches apart. That is what we are talking about. Yeah, 6'4 would be better, but 6' 1 is big enough.
