I think Washington will work out a deal with a Cousins approved team. This will be done prior to any tag signing. The only other thing for W to do would be to pay the tag price which is ridiculous.

With Cousins you know what you are getting. With drafting a QB, you just never know. Either way, there are pluses & minuses.

Forget about Mayfield. He will be gone by pick 7. Imho, he is the best QB in the draft. However, it is difficult for GMs to pull the trigger on an under 6 ft QB.

I agree with you, 26. I was only commenting that taking 2 QBs and trading one isn't much different than taking one & trading the 2nd pick.

Not much different than taking a QB at #1 & then trading #4 for picks. Taking a QB also at #4 & trading him for picks would be mostly the same as trading the #4 pick. But, why do that when you can just trade the pick.

I don't think there is anything wrong with his arm strength. I saw him throw effortlessly 55 yds in the air for a td, in one game. So, he isn't Elway. So what.

IMHO, I feel that the current Bill's brain trust will be investing in a seasoned QB. Having said that, they will then be free to attack the front seven as you say. Mc D. seems to like draft capital, so I see some sliding down on day 2 for future picks. If for some reason we don't sign a veteran starter at the QB position, then I think that they will entertain a move up in the 1st round. I'm betting on the 1st scenario where we have a QB signed & we devote day one to the front seven. Three out of four of the teams still alive have middle of the pack QB's. They also have four of the best D's in the league.

I never could understand why Toronto isn't considered in the Buffalo TV market. Especially, considering that the local Buffalo tv stations are all on the Canadian cable system.
