I've been thinking Cassel would be released eventually, but I have changed my mind. I think they will keep 3 QB's, but I think EJ will leap frog Cassel on the depth chart. Cassel is a known commodity, and he will be a good insurance policy. How the rep's play out in preseason game 3 will tell the story.

Once you get healthy in the secondary I expect the defense to return to dominant as it was last season. Also was impressed with the Browns offensive line. A lot left to be desired at the skill positions for the brownies, but it seems like they're building from the inside-out. BTW....what's the story with Gilbert? I was at TC the day he got worked, and it was fugly.

Please define for me what a "franchise QB" is. I'm not trying to be a turd, but I have always struggled with this. Does this mean like top 5 QB in the NFL? Does it mean worthy of being Buffalo's starting QB for the foreseeable future? Help me out.

Wood played well tonight. I noticed him anchoring well, and got some push in the running game. Shelton had his plays, but he is going to get those every week.

Those injuries don't really mean all that much as they relate to 2016 draft needs. Even with Fred out of the equation, we still have a pretty solid stable of RB's. I couldn't really see us taking a RB before the 5th round.

My 21 month old Daughter tries to climb inside the dryer all the time. OC's are not usually left on an island in pass protection or run blocking. Better OG's=better help for Wood which would appear (in theory) to make him better. Pears, Urbik, Williams, and Richardson weren't doing Wood any favors last season.
