One obscure positive I came away with tonight...Jesse Edwards was not the reason we lost. He essentially came in with 4:00+ left and held his own on defense. He had that one ridiculous turnover, but overall, I think he did okay with both Dolezaj and Sidibe fouled out. He is raw, but I think he will be a good “2-3 zone” center by his late sophomore/Junior season. Hit the weights and eat lots of Varsity pizza, Jesse ?

Don’t be too hard on yourself...lol. A 1 point loss on the road @ Clemson isn’t a terrible loss. Still have a lot of conference games and the ACC tournament to go. Keep the faith man.

The clock read .4 when they thought the ball finally hit out of bounds. The replay was inconclusive. It almost looked like the ball was on the line at 1.2. The way it was explained, the refs couldn’t make a definitive call so they just split the difference ?‍♂️?‍♂️

Tough loss. That cold shooting streak in the 2nd half killed us. That was a tough Clemson team though, and sometimes you are going to take those losses on the road. A win against Duke in the Dome on Saturday will have us right back on track ?

I enjoyed it, but there was some “fluff” that may or may not been factual. Nature? Nurture? Head trauma? Dude was twisted. Entertaining documentary.

Not our best game today, but we did enough to pull out the crucial ACC Win. Dolezaj is playing out of his mind on offense and defense. Guerrier is going to be our 6th man difference maker down the stretch. And JG3 is getting better at zone defense. Keep winning ?!

Guerrier hasn’t lit up the stat sheet, but has been a factor in ‘Cuse’s turn around. IMO. Hustle plays, rebounds, defense. Love his potential.

I thought they played rather well tonight. ND, for what seemed like 8 minutes, just could not miss a shot. Cuse kept working the dribble drive with success and Dolezaj/Sidibe with some nice low post work. Girard is turning into this team’s Devendorf. I love the way he mixes it up, and the “hand the ball off” thing at the end was funny to me. The clock had expired, dude was still trying to pull the ball away, so Joe just gave it to him ?? Love it. This team has rattled off some fairly impressive wins, and looks to be improving every week. We’ll see. At least now we can enjoy the ride, ? fans.

Of course we CAN squeak in. Just keep winning ACC games, especially some of the big ones, and the selection committee won’t be able to leave us out. A nice run in the ACC tourney will be crucial as well. I’d like to call to attention that we are on page 44 of this thread.

Just win baby! These next three games against ND (away), Pitt (home) and Clemson (road) are going to be HUGE for our tourney resume prior to our home matchup with what looks like to be a “beatable” Duke team at home. Take it game by game....get better and better.
