  1. first and most importantly, i know you didn't call me ignorant. i was more tongue and cheek about the whole labialization of that and other labels. it was satire those players with diabetes are not a player i'd want to invest in. if the bills get him i will support him 100% until he no longer wears the laundry. it's also draft season so nothing can be taken at face value. teams could be trying to inflame this story to make others back off or question the player or teams involved.
  2. the further answers to those questions are simple. no one would draft those players in the first round. maybe not the first 3. i've been called ignorant many times, which is weird because i'm really smart.
  3. it's a business. he is no different than a sports car. and these players go through tons of reviews to find every defect. it is one thing to draft a player with poor wingspan. it's a boneheaded move to buy a player who is facing a lifelong struggle and likely to impact his career. you can say i am crude, crass, lack empathy... but would you want a 5' QB playing? would you be cool with a 340# QB? would you like your kicker to be missing an arm? what about a linebacker who had their colon removed?
  4. If I am buying a million dollar super car I am not going to excuse the factor of it having just 1 defect.
  5. the I is what i gave up on. otherwise I'd wonder is it... A-Don-A-I? Adona-eye? A-don-ay-yi?
  6. i honestly don't even know how to pronounce it. is it Ad-on-ay? Adon-aye? A-done-yay? A-done-knee-ya? A-aron?
  7. Bold move... Quite frankly it's too much but it is the only move I'd make if moving up for the only player I'd move up for drafting.
  8. There are just some things we shouldn't mention on here. Geno Smith. Daron Lee. 43 is the Mike. Nathan Peterman. -------- And I can easily win this thread with two players Eli Manning Phillip Rivers Both never even got to play a game for the team that drafted them and went on to HOF careers after being traded.
  9. if this is what you want get doug marrone.
  10. wow the timing on this. oof. man we have all been there.
  11. i need to read the article but my hot take is that when you look at the entire draft you can see and say this but if you look at individual programs you can surely see that some teams are better at it structurally than others. Especially at certain positions. Some teams just do extremely well at positional drafting.
  12. i don't think anything changes Beane's mind, ever. that's why i voted no. look all he went through to get Frank Gore, Eman Sanders, and a few others. the question will be does this influence the minds of the Bills Org. or put a damper on it???
  13. look up the info about our favorite player da'rick rodgers i remember that his camp was happy that he was not drafted - it enabled them to get a bigger bonus.
  14. It is amazing because it's a coin. On one side it is better for the team to draft players but this secures them to a contract. For the player this limits their earnings potential. On the other side it is better for the team to fill their roster with UDFA's because they can bring in talented individuals who do not need to be paid the minimums guaranteed in the NFL Draft rounds but for the players they can often exceed the NFL Draft amount with bonuses and such.
  15. I think he gets a bum rap. I think it's easy to get frustrated in Dallas, but more so I think it's easy for Dallas to make the story out of anything. Both the media and the team like to use it as leverage. Coincidentally my nephew refereed a game today for one team was coached by him.
  16. I think it's hilarious to go after this and pursue sanctions. Dude should have every right to see who he wants to medically. Also, they're stupid for not doing it outside the full scope of football.
  17. So that's like double secret probation? Something that didn't happen? He was found not guilty, I didn't know there had to be stipulations on that.... But then again I haven't read the Bill of Rights in a long time nor the Constitution and what it limits the government to do ... Oh well have a great weekend
  18. @MrEpsYtown when are they gonna come off the board?
  19. i was trying to find some info on it but haven't yet been able to find a good source.... but I have a really interesting thought. Wait until the 5th or 6th round and find a high RAS OL - likely a guard - and talk to him. Make sure he he is fast with good feet and tell him we will draft him to be a powerback fullback. Talk to a few guys. There is likely a high RAS OL that will last in the 6th or 7th that we can do something with.
  20. the RAS is a facotr with Mitchell. I think that offers a lot. I would love a chance to trade down and still get Mitchell and then double dip with McConky. I think Mitchell is gone by 28 though.
  21. Someone is going to jump for JJ McCarthy. It's going to be hilarious. That noodle arm dweeb isn't the next bom trady
