  1. That draft would get Buddy Nix a spot on the wall at the Ralph
  2. Buddy was been very forthcoming over the years that he does not know the draft board and how to move/up down. He has said many times he just likes to pick where he is slotted. Unless, at age 73, Buddy has miraculously figured out the trade chart, he isn't going to move up/down. He is not a man of change.
  3. Players who only have a small window to get paid and who are inherintly self-interested to chase money are now taking pay cuts to avoid playing for the Bills? Sweet.... We can't even buy these guys anymore
  4. So seattle has jackson and flynn and still takes a rookie QB and makes him their week 1 starter. The Bills have the same or worse QB situation, take nobody, then give up draft picks for Seatle's backups?
  5. We are eyeing the 5th and 6th receivers of non-contenders cut in training camp to be our #2 and #3... just be patient
  6. Roger goodell - "Super Nintendo" Chalmers Smithers - Russ Brandon
  7. What qualifies you to be a NFL scout? Doesn't somewhere along the line an NFL team has to actually pay you for your advice? I would assume that would be at least a starting point as a qualifier...
  8. And by "tape" you mean you watched 3 1/2 minutes of youtube videos
  9. Thigpen's best Bills highlight is getting nailed in the head warming up on the sideline. That was his only contribution to the team. He will be lucky to be a 3rd stringer on a desperate team.
  10. Agreed - we are coming off a 6-10 season and we are 2 steps behind that team with a entire new coaching staff. Starting in the hole there is a lot we need to do just to get back to 6-10.
  11. Bengals backup = Bills starter. Sweet!! The tide is turning
  12. Agreed - we're going to be 3-4 wins tops. My nightmare is that we pull a Browns and pick a Weeden type of QB round 2, end up with a top pick in 2014 and feel like we are going to ride out our QB and miss taking a guy like a Bridewater, etc.
  13. ESPN was just laughing at Buddy and the Bills as usual. We are such a freakin joke with this guy calling the shots. Even the perenial joke teams (Lions, Bengals, Dolphins) have 10x the credibility of the Bills right now. We are in our own category - like beyond the cellar. What's below the cellar - hell?
  14. You could be right about not translating to the NFL - most QBs don't. Each year as his attempts went up, his sacks dramatically went down and his TD/INT ratio improved. He has clearly been getting better and was pretty consistent. He can make throws that Fitz can't. I referenced the bench pressing because he is a workout warrior and is a leader by example. He's not Drew Bledsoe, but arm strength is not an issue. Working with the same coaching staff, running the same offense - if he could put up the same #s that he did at Syracuse in 2012, we would be very happy. Those are Fitz 2011 pre-injury #s. 15. You have no clue. "Checking down" is the worst part of Nassib's game if you've ever watched him play. I've watched every one of his games. His strength is his strong arm and mid-to-deep range throws, clutch game winning drive intangibles and Fitz-type of scrambling abilities. His weakness is accuracy in short-yardage passing, in the flats and throwing with pressure in his face. If you draft Nassib you better sign Levitre. Stop posting that this kid has a weak arm, etc. He would probably out-bench any player on our offensive.
  16. Depends on your definition of backup. He started 3 games out of 53 games played and made 90 total tackles in 53 games. I would call that a backup. His LSU bio starts off with "a top reserve..." http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=785329 I go agree that Honey Badger played more positions than CB though.
  17. We're saving #90 for our 1st round pick
  18. Especially if we don't bring by Kyle Moore, I'm thinking we go either OLB or DE in the 1st round. Anderson is still a question mark, Mario is injury prone
  19. Agreed - the Bills drafted Ron Brooks from LSU last year in the 4th round. He was Honey Badger's backup...
  20. Stevie is 100% open that he can't do one of these... not too worried
  21. 0-3 against Cuse/Marrone. Unimpressive stats in those games. I can't imagine Marrone going with Smith. As far as trading back, Buddy doesn't do that
  22. Let's load up on players from a 6-10 team!! Get er done
  23. Can someone mail this to Buddy so he has it before the draft? He's having trouble pulling this up on his Palm Pilot
