Where are all the Bryce Brown lovers.... seems like they disappeared all of a sudden. Never should have got rid of SJ. He would be perfect in Hogan's role.

It makes you wonder whether we would have been better having Martin at Guard, our 1st round pick 2015, Stevie Johnson and Mike Williams playing, as opposed to our current OL, Watkins, no 1st rounder next year and Bryce Brown on our bench.

I hate to actually say this... but he needs to learn to check down. He took some bad sacks that could have been avoided had he looked for a dump-off guy. Other than that, he was pretty solid on those 10-15 yard throws. It's been a while since we had a QB that can make that throw.

Agreed. We had them on their 6 yardline. Needed a stop early to get good field position. Those guys are in shape and need to be on the field for what could have been their last series of the day.

That's gotta be why we made Kiko switch positions - the MLB in Schwartz's defense isn't going to see the field. They seem to be pretty high on Bradham. Eventually it might be Kiko / Bradham on the field for the whole game with Brown taking over for Spikes.

Had EJ or Thad been in the CLE and KC game last year, we would have been 8-8. The game is too fast for him - he panics.

The lower the price, the better for everyone except the Wilson estate. A low sale price will take some of the pressure off jacking up prices of tickets / going all out on a new stadium for additional revenue sources.

The problem is Ponder still has a 1st round contract. Good analysis overall though.

Overall, I don't totally disagree with the OP, BUT, I'd say let Freddie play himself out of the lineup. Don't assume he is old and can't play, etc. Right now, there is nothing proving he still can't play. You might be right, but let's see it play out on the field.

What's funny is everyone has been in love with Pegula as owner. If a Gundlach/Kelly/ potentially Golisano group steps up will everyone be disappointed? Will people start rooting against Jim Kelly? Or if Pegula gets it - are people upset he took the team away from Kelly? I'm happy either way - just keep away from JBJ.

Pro - 878 career rushing yards, 4.6 avg. 6 TDs, 12 Receptions CJ Spiller College - 4,480 career rushing yards, 5.9 avg, 32 TDs, 1362 Rec yards, 12 TD. 8 Special teams TDs. ACC Player of year, consensus All American. Pro - 3,015 career rushing yards, 5.1 avg., 12 TDs, 139 Receptions In case anyone is curious - if Spiller stays at 5.1 avg. for a career, that is tied for #6 all time, and #4 as a RB. He's doing fine.

I understand the "cool" thing is for everyone to hate on CJ, which everyone does on and off the board. I disagree - I think he's one of our best players. I don't think CJ is the issue - if we had McCoy or Peterson, we'd still be in the same spot. At this point, what would you like the team to do? Let him go at year end? Ride 33 year old Fred Jackson for a couple more years? Draft another RB?

McCoy is sick - probably the best RB in the league right now. But look at his 2012 stats - looks pretty close to CJ in 2013. I'm not saying give him McCoy money, but don't wait until CJ puts up another 2012 campaign.

He had 927 last year averaging 4.6 ypc. Pretty good considering he ran on a sprained ankle all year. His stats in 2012 are reflective of his production when healthy.

CJ is going to have a big year. Extend him now before he looks for a max deal. RBs are not getting paid in 2014 - giving him no leverage.

$1.082 B - Bon Jovi / Rogers Group. About a 30% premium on where it should go. They get the approval when they "promise" to keep the team in NY. FWIW, as fans, I would get nervous over these $1B+ deals. It makes it incredibly hard to make the ROR these guys are looking for without substantially raising prices. Ticket prices might need to be 2x-3x.

Trump does everything through leverage. The only way to have a profitable team is minimal or no debt or be in a bigger market. This isn't going to happen.

If the renovation truly makes the concourse space a place where you actually want to hang out - I think it's a good idea. If the weather stinks in December, etc. I'd go in a little earlier than normal if they had good bars / food / restrooms. Good idea as long as they make those solid.

But Leif Larson killed Brady in the benchpress... so we've got that going for us
