Lt. Gov Say's Bill's only NY Team
jester43 replied to Amarillo Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah they should plaster the name "New York" on their jerseys then everyone will buy in. -
disclaimer....i did not read all 9 pages of this, but lolllllll it is funny how emotional everyone gets over Manziel. An opinion: I picture a guy who would get us to 10 wins right away (which i don't think Manuel will ever do) but then can't get you over the hump because a good defense will be able to contain him. Like a slightly better version of Flutie. I'd take the 10 wins and the hope over what we have going on right now.

How about Lucas Oil Stadium in Buffalo?
jester43 replied to oman128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i have seen Lucas oil stadium from the outside and i think it looks pretty cool. but i hope that if they ever get around to building a stadium here they do whatever they can to make it look as much as possible like the ralph as they can. that could be cool too, right? i like that we have a bowl for a lower level and if they could do something like that and keep the same general layout and sightlines down low while putting whatever fancy crap they need on top of it...i don't know, I'm not an architect, but i think it would be cool and unique if the bills could build a "throwback" stadium with whatever modern crap they need also part of the construction. as archaic as everyone says it is, god knows we all love it when we're in there watching a good team, i think it would be neat if they could preserve that somehow. -
maybe wilfork is washed up. but all that cap space and all that SUCK defending the run? do they have an excuse not to try him? i remember when pat williams was washed up. and ted wahington. they were so old and washed up that they each had 6-7 more productive years after the bills gave up on them.

#1 OJ but i don't think we need a budding sociopath in our locker room.

Bills to pull out of Toronto deal per Mark Gaughan
jester43 replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
for all you OBD apologists... this one step in the right direction actually, yes, he is...or he wouldn't have embarrassed his fans and his franchise with 6 years of this bull ****. and as far as the fans being now morally obligated to go out and by all 600000 tickets by draft day...how about lets not field such GARBAGE for a season or two and lets see if that does something for ticket sales. -
Bills to meet with Rogers Communications
jester43 replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
let's have a team that doesn't suck balls for once and then we can try your little experiment. -
Check out the Bills' redesigned uniforms!

if they can sell seahawk jerseys and oregon jerseys, it is only a matter of time before the whole NFL is dressed like this. college football programs in general seems to be bent on out-crazying each other, so where do you think this trend is going? -
Marino, Sharpe done at CBS
jester43 replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
seriously...who watches any of these shows anyway? i'd be more likely to tune in if they showed gilligan reruns until the coin toss. -
the way i remember it, the attendance problems started after the idiotic mcadoo trade. it was like they were trying to sabotage the team to give them an excuse to sell. that was a nice team for a couple of years before that trade. a lot of fun to watch.

Kemp was qb when i was born. But whatever. Every time i see the replay I keep expecting it to go through. That's how insane i am. edit....or i should say...that's how insane all the losing has made me. i feel like i was pretty normal before all this madness started. just one before i die...

Losing Pettine may not be all that bad for Bills
jester43 replied to Ludwig van's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
evidently Schwartz's defense puts a lot of pressure on linebackers in run defense (i know, what defense doesn't?). in that case, we need linebackers, bad. i am not looking forward to another year of watching us get gashed 15-20 yards off-tackle half a dozen times a game., -
Who do you want to be the next DC?

Who do you want to be the next DC?
jester43 replied to RuntheDamnBall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
sorry i haven't followed this thread so maybe this was discussed....but i will ask anyway... all else aside, do we even have the personnel to run Wade's defense? if not, i can't fathom blowing up the roster again to accomodate him. if we do....? well that might be fun. anyway, are the players there for it? anyone? -
Mike Pettine speculation-interviewing w Cleveland
jester43 replied to mannc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
to say the least. i liked Pettine and i hope we don't lose him, but there has to be at least one more man on the planet who do this job. -

what sucks about this whole thing is there is clearly no way the man who took our 6-10 defense to 6-10 the following year can ever be replaced. it's like we're right back where we started. very frustrating. -
LB coach Chuck Driesbach relieved of duties
jester43 replied to BRAWNDO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am sure most of the people looking at this thread already read the story about it in the Bucks Country paper, but if not, here is the link: http://www.buckscoun...two-bills-drive The guy seemed a little broken hearted and I feel bad for him. He obviously loved what he was dong. I have no idea whether he deserved to be fired or not, but clearly something was wrong with this defense. Still, the article was a reminder that these are people too, and whatever your walk in life, it sucks to lose a job you love. I hope the guy lands somewhere else he likes as much as Buffalo. -
I absolutely enjoyed the games too. But no one can say a game with the cards vs SF wouldn't have been just as good. And call me crazy, I just really find somethng appealing about the team with 10 wins getting into the playoffs instead of the team with 8. I just can't stomach a team with a better record getting left home just because it didn't have the good luck to play in a garbage division. At least in SDs case, they had the 6th best record. not when they expand to 36 teams!

PPP is just moderated just fine, as long as your views don't stray anywhere to the left of Attila the Hun.
