Were the circumstances by which Brown became a free agent orchestrated? Does his behavior constitute fraud? Was this planned by he and Rosenhaus? When did Rosenhaus first reach out to the Patriots? If I’m any NFL owner not named Kraft, I’d like to know the answers to those questions.
-
That may be true, but how would you feel if the Bills were bilked out of draft picks like the a Raiders have been? By your logic that would be like saying because most people aren’t criminals we should ignore crime.
-
And why aren’t the other owners up in arms? I believe Brown and his agent orchestrated the whole thing. This could be a template for star players.

Have the Patriots Not Learned Anything?
chris heff replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here’s what I’ve learned from the multiple threads that address Antonio Brown and the Patriots. There are a lot of people that believe in the end justifies the means, as is there a lot of people that immediately jump to the conclusion that if a woman accuses a celebrity or person of wealth and power with sexual assault, the woman is a gold digger with an agenda. -

Maybe, but I believe they had him fake injuries at the end of games to stop the clock. -

Glenn Bass and another player owned a restaurant called the Goalpost, I think it was on Colvin and Eggert. I remember a giant oil painting of Bass in his Bills uniform. Anybody remember what Glenn’s signature play was? -

That is what I’m thinking. Seeing Cappelletti catch a pass and then kick a field goal, did make me laugh. Was that the year that the Bills won the second championship or the year they lost to KC? I was at the championship game they lost to KC, they got killed. -

Amazing how many legends are in that video. I don’t recall anyone ever calling Jack Kemp Jackie. Tom Flores to Art Powell TD, both later traded to the Bills for Lamonica. -

What I don’t understand is the 31 other owners, do they want this behavior to become a strategy for every player under contract that doesn’t like his team? -

This is not about having an opinion on prostitution. This is about sex trafficking. As I wrote in another thread I live a few miles from the Asian massage parlor where Kraft was going. The same people opened a massage parlor next to my office. It’s existence reflected poorly on my business, I know this by the number of comments we received from clients. The landlord choose to do nothing, after Kraft’s arrest I met with Palm Beach County Sheriff detectives, they were part of a joint task force investigating sex trafficking. What seems more likely, these women decided to migrate to the US to become prostitutes, or in order to pay off migration they were forced into prostitution? Charges against Kraft were dropped due to a technicality. The NFL still could have penalized him based on behavior detrimental to the league, they did not. As to Antonio Brown there is a reason for a trial, it is to present evidence. People, not just here, immediately jump to the conclusion that this woman is just another gold digger. Reaching this conclusion having reviewed no evidence. This is a reason that women are afraid to come forward. The NFL could suspend Brown while this plays out, to date they have not. Dodson was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. He eventually pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor. The NFL then suspended him. -

Exactly! There are people on this site in other threads defending both Brown and Kraft. It’s head scratching. -

Thanks for clearing up the $75k. The article I read just said $75k, I did find that curious. I don't believe I wrote that, I thing you are attributing something written by Bangarang to me. -

If she is extorting money, why only sue for $75,000? I take exception to your personal assault, which you have done by calling me ignorant. I did not question any other posters intelligence or character, calling someone stupid when having a discussion rarely accomplishes anything. i don’t think Kraft is “pro-sex trafficking” and I never wrote that. I believe that Kraft is indifferent. -

I’m unclear as to your point with your entire post. It appears to be the ends justified the means. Which is at best a slippery slope. History is full of examples of this, I could enumerate if you wish. Unless Robert Kraft is an idiot he would at the very least be aware that prostitution is illegal in the State of Florida. He would have to be incredibly naive to not connect the dots that women from a foreign country prostituting themselves could be sex trafficking. I don’t believe he is either an idiot or naive, I believe he didn’t care. The sex trafficking at these so called “Asian Massage” business has absolutely been established. I live not far from where Kraft was arrested. My business office for the last twenty years has been in a small complex, some are store fronts. A legitimate massage therapy business was purchased by “Asian Massage “. I had a two year battle with the landlord to evict them, aside from the moral issue, the existence of that business in the complex reflected badly on respectable business like mine. What broke the camel’s back was Kraft’s arrest. I contacted the Sheriffs Department and subsequently met with them. What they shared with me about these types of operations was chilling and disturbing. If you choose to give Kraft a free pass, because he got charges dropped on a technicality that is your business. I on the other hand find his behavior to be not only stupid, but reprehensible. -

My point is that you wrote “Hernandez was released two days after his arrest”, but the ultimate outcome was his death. If you have “no idea regarding the circumstances of his suspension “ why comment on condoned drug abuse? I don’t hate Antonio Brown, I don’t know him. I don’t have an agenda. My speculation based upon what I’ve read is an opinion. Are you of the belief that men who pay for sex with women, who have been forced into prostitution through human trafficking, are not culpable? -

1. Hernandez hung himself after being convicted of murder. 2. Fair enough, but why does Gordon keep getting suspended or quitting if everyone is doing it? 3. The case against AB is a civil suit, he’s not going to get convicted of anything. The woman in question is suing him for $75,000 because she was an employee and she thought a friend, she could not continue to work for him for obvious reasons. 4. Kraft’s arrest was the result of a joint task force investigating human trafficking. -
You are absolutely right, I was watching condensed game version. It was hard to pick that up.

No I was thinking Gore running around. Probably the wrong call. I just have an aversion to punts from the 35, who did that St. Doug?
-
I’m not disagreeing, but the result of the punt was 15 yards. What was more important field position or time? Was there a call that would have run off more time? Probably not
