  1. Maybe Fitz could post who we're taking at #50 in the draft.
  2. I really do hope he earns the starting job. He deserves a chance with Roman's offense. They clearly brought him on board with EJ in mind. Marrone/Hackett's offensive scheme was a joke.
  3. You can complain about the size and breadth of the McCoy and Gray contracts, but there's no way to describe what the Bills have accomplished this off-season as anything but astonishing. I'm guessing Roman can get out of the OL twice what that jerk off Marrone could. We can shore up depth and maybe, with luck, even score some starters in the draft and UDFAs.
  4. The remaining free agent guards are either great or awful. We can't afford great and why would we sign awful. Get a decent guard in the draft and udfa, cut Urbik and/or Chris Williams, and arrange a killer offer for Clay.
  5. He'd be a good depth and occasional spread player in our offensive set unless Roman doesn't think much of Woods. He'd be a threat to someone like Marquise Goodwin or Hogan but it's hard to envision him in a starting role. He has obvious value in special teams.
  6. The Bills are waiting for the Dolphins to settle and announce the terms of the Suh contract before tendering their offer sheet for Clay. I worry that we're going to lose other free agents while Miami takes its time clearing cap space for Clay and others.
  7. More than Ryan, this feels like a Roman move. Unlike Marrone who wanted large and ultimately immobile offensive lineman, Roman likes more agile athletes who can move rapidly to pull and block for the running game. Hairston may have been too slow in Roman's offensive mold.
  8. I'll take it so long as I can have the option to receive $4 million from him if the ownership changes.
  9. Multi-tasking. Gotta sign our guys but we've got to be flexible enough to fill needs where we're able. Not positive Incognito is the best idea yet having totally abused the position for so long has created a crisis that has brought this about.
  10. No conspiracy theory needed, just nose plugs. The Ian Rappaport report about the 11 footballs being deflated by 2 pounds each isn't denied by the league office for a week and a half dragging the whole matter into this major controversy that damages the credibility of the game. Reportedly, the folks at the NFL are pissed and disappointed. Now that New England has won the Super Bowl, a leak from New York is that only one ball was significantly deflated. We can't have a Super Bowl champion tarnished because they broke rules with blatant disregard, literally giving the finger to the other 31 teams. They're going to sweep this under the rug and Kraft, Belicheck, and Brady are going to get away with this crap again. Why should I be surprised? Goodell is Kraft's lap dog. Next thing you know, the Patriots will be receiving a groveling apology and an extra draft pick.
  11. Their previous coach was out after a year, their new star quarterback is out after less than half a season, the Browns are a cluster.
  12. It does let you know this didn't occur in isolation. Most likely this was going on since at least 2007. If they've been at it that long, it makes Belichick's claims of innocence much, much thinner.
  13. Right on the mark. Ryan will never put up with a running back who runs for negative three yards and then comes to the sideline for a winder.
  14. I liked the Patriots a lot more prior to Brady when they were the New England Bengals. Back then Cincinnati was today's equivalent of the Jags.
  15. $25,000 x 16 = $400,000. The rookie league minimum for one player in 2015 is $510,000. We should under inflate our balls every week.
  16. A new stadium is the least of our concerns with the Pelugas firmly in control. Let's concentrate on winning a Super Bowl.
  17. The Denver Broncos have just been notified that Doug Marrone is canceling his interview on Saturday according to an NFL source. No word on why he cancelled.
  18. Marrone is now interviewing for the Denver Broncos head coaching position on Saturday. I can't imagine he's going to best other candidates like Gary Kubiak, Alan Gase, or Dan Quinn.
  19. I need to be thirty years younger. The Bills have a much better chance.
  20. Marrone quit as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills because he expected to be offered a high-profile offensive coordinator position with the Jacksonville Jaguars. I don't think that's going to pan out for him, though. He's going to have to go to plan B and be the radio football announcer for Zeeland (N.D.) H.S. instead.
  21. Kimberly Jones of the NFL Network confirms Schwartz is done. Link
  22. Do we play the Rams this year? Put us down for a W.
  23. Definitely a lot of conflicting reports being thrown around. We may have to wait for an announcement from the team, Ryan, or Schwartz to know for sure. Roman is being favored as the OC although nothing has been signed.
