  1. Every week is not like the next or previous, even the 0-16 Browns played some good teams hard. SF could only manage 9 points against Washington today. Sometimes bad teams play well, and sometimes good teams don't, still 5-1 baby. Next week we'll really see what this team is made of, I think they'll be up to the task.
  2. Post after post, only pointing to the negative is the very definition of pessimistic, see below. pessimistic /ˌpɛsɪˈmɪstɪk/ adjective tending to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen. "he was pessimistic about the prospects"
  3. I don't think many people think he's a finished product at all, far from it, but his career is 16 games old. The pessimists, or realists as you like to call your selves, are the same as the more optimistic members just at different ends of the spectrum. In the end it's just entertainment, the Bills are 4-1, and some choose to enjoy the game and the Bills.
  4. Wonder why Yeldon pulled away from the ball like that?
  5. He is still a work in progress but Bills are 4-1 and Allen is what, 9-7 after his first 16 games? If that upsets the usual band of wrist slashers, then that makes me even happier. win win!
  6. Still a work in progress but he's a gamer and a winner so happy at this point,
  7. No faith lost yet. One of the things BB does really well is bait young QB's.
  8. You're right, better to mope and b##ch about the loss on social media. No one is happy about the loss.
  9. As bad as it was, an Allen led offence outscored a Brady led offence. The Buffalo D is legit.
  10. He certainly failed today but as bad as he was, an Allen led offence outscored the Patriots juggernaut offence 10-9. He threw and ran for more yards than the greatest QB to play the game. It's just a shame about the blocked punt and that the Patriots defence took up residence in his head. The silver lining is that the Buffalos defence is arguably the best in the league and can help them go toe to toe against the best teams in the league. hopefully Allen learns how to throw it away before it's too late. edit: equalled them taking out the extra point.
  11. No one has played well against this secondary, just miserable fans led by Mr f#@king miserable @Nextmanup
  12. They are definitely a symbiotic coupling. Belicheck is probably the best there has ever been, but without the best QB there has ever been, i doubt he has all 6 of those rings.
  13. I don't remember his name. He disappeared straight away.
  14. I don't think anyone did at the time. There was a guy so confident he bet 5K on the Vikings to win and bragged about his bet in this forum. Didn't go so well.
  15. Can't recall but I'd put $5000 on it that you're right. I doubt McDermott would, but just hope they don't treat the Bengals like Minnesota treated the Bills game last year.
  16. Me too, too many people are heavily invested in the opinion he's below average, while always keeping one foot on the fence just in case he comes good. several on this board come to mind as well. The first buzzword was accuracy, you were seemingly born with that, can't teach accuracy. then he got some short range weapons and hits 64% of his passes. Now we need to see consistency because all quarterbacks play exactly the same every game. he'll always have his critics until they are proven right and can pat them selves on the back or run out of reasons to nit pick.
  17. Just continue on the uphill trajectory he is on and keep learning from his mistakes.
  18. Seems like that movement is slowly switching to the coach being too conservative.
