  1. Yeah, I don't think the homeless vote. Especially the ones we're talking about here. On a side note. Just went on a Bay lunch cruise the previous weekend,. Afterword we took a walk down the Embarcadero (to sober up before I drove home). Honestly, I don't recall seeing any homeless or seeing anything filthy dirty. I know it can and is bad in many areas, but just saying it's not all bad. Still a beautiful city. The only reason it's not like this all over is because, it's beautiful here damn near all year around. Homeless in Buffalo? Living on the streets during the winter? No, they'll just hop into an abandoned house on the East Side and ride it out so you don't see it (until they burn it down).
  2. Maybe the Falcons will take him back...He still has 3 years left on his deal ($6.6 still owed). Falcons fans are still clamoring for him on Twitter. If we're not doing anything w/ him, maybe ATL will want him back.
  3. He can do that at the draft. Roll in wearing a Ezekiel Elliott half shirt, jorts and a igloo cooler full of Natty Light. After each selection that isn't him, pop another beer and slam it down. If he falls in the draft, it'd make for great TV. How blitzed can Baker get? How many will it take to pass out?
  4. Justin or Jennifer? People seem to bash Jennifer, I'll volunteer myself to find out what's really going on.
  5. His first photo w/ the Raiders in '82 ...
  6. He looked old in '82 w/ the Raiders, that's all I was saying (and it's 36 years later). At the time, his age wasn't revealed. Bills QB in 82 will still Joe Ferguson. Seriously!
  7. Terry Robiskie? How old is that guy? I remember him coaching the Raiders in, something like, the early 80's. We're talking Jim Plunkett and Marcus Allen years. Dang, he's old. Can WR coaches us walkers on the sidelines?
  8. I'm quite aware they can structure the deal anyway, anyhow. This years cap space is minuscule compared to next years current # (31 (40 if we dump Tyrod) vs 86). Back load the deal (ala Stafford), less the first year...more toward the end. I'm all for it. Build the rest of the team via draft and a few low priced FA's and let them take off. I don't think it'll happen, but don't want them to get into a position where they end up in a cap space hell in a couple years w/ a bad contract for Cousins. With that said though, I think they'll go cheap and pick up a QB in the draft so they don't have that huge contract taking up all that space. They'll hope they get lucky and things will work out as opposed to taking the "sure" thing. This is a tough one (because we've all been waiting for that one QB to take over since Kelly retired), but I hope they don't get rid of all the picks we've accumulated to move up. We all have our opinions and the only ones that matters are in the Bills FO. I feel I'm all over the board on this, but that's my one thing I know for sure.....keep the picks and hope for the best regarding drafting a QB.
  9. My $0.02 worth of nothing....Ok, Bills spend a fortune on Cousins, possibly have their QB for the next 5 years and use their draft picks to fill the roster for cheap (and hopefully get 4 starters w/ those top four picks). Or they give up their bushel of draft picks and move up to get the QB they want, thus possibly spending a fortune on FA to get the players they couldn't get in the draft. Or wait it out, hope the QB that falls to them at #21 / #22 pans out and still use the remaining draft picks to fill out the roster. This way saves money, but leaves future at QB still in limbo. Three scenarios, the first two they're spending the money, just in different ways. One may solve our QB problem for the next few years w/ a proven QB (although some don't see him as successful or worth the money), the second may get us a starting QB but he may be a year away from playing and nothing else via the draft. Third is a crap shoot, as we wait and see what falls to us, but we do get to keep our picks and still fill out our roster w relatively cheap talent. I don't think we have the $$ for Cousins, but I'd like to see them make a move for him. He said he's made his money and that won't be a determining factor on where he goes (sure, we can believe that ...but he may want to win and maybe he views us as a winner and breaking the bank won't be necessary for him). That way we'll still have our picks to get the team good talent w/o having to rely on high prices FA's to fill out the roster. We can hit the clearance bin for roster filler and maybe find another gem or two.
  10. I'm just hearing Tesla...not sure why Tesla didn't embrace Tesla (esp w/ their song about Tesla). Sacramento summers, skimpy clothing & Tesla @ Cal Expo. Can't get much better....
  11. I think they'll do both. They'll trade up, but only using one of the 1st Rd picks. Then using the second, they'll trade down to acquiring / getting back some of the picks lost.
  12. Considering the 49ers look like they just locked up Jimmy G for 5yrs/$137 million ... I think we can close this debate up.
  13. Probably staying in NE to become their next coach after Bill leaves (soon, I hope).
  14. Vinegar is the trick .... check this out. Pretty much tests all ways listed above. https://www.buzzfeed.com/mathewjedeikin/vinegar-makes-eggs-easier-to-peel?utm_term=.bwr0Kzb27#.lhoD4GQnz
  15. Exactly, so we're looking at this all wrong. The guy we should be targeting is Mannion. Probably had for a box of donuts. Paula, get that special box ready!
  16. Not sure if this is posted in any of the other 6 pages or so, but just look at what Fisher did w/ Keenum, Foles and Goff. Look at these three now, free of him and his putrid 7-9 coaching. https://deadspin.com/jeff-fisher-must-be-arrested-and-tried-for-his-crimes-a-1822733338
  17. I don't think teams will have any issue paying Cousins $25+ million. Carr is being paid $25 million, Palmer got $24 million this past year. Don't forget someone like Flacco is being paid $24 million too. Mid-20 million seems to be the average ballpark for a starting QB that has some reasonable success. Cousins has had some success in his career w/ a mediocre team (avg 4500yds 81td 36int the past 3 seasons). Someone will pony up for that. That number listed seems to be going toward the norm for a starting QB.
  18. When my parents came to America back in the 50's, they settled in Buffalo. They met, moved to California, then married. I came around, and when I was young (early - mid-70's) they got homesick and they moved the family back to Buffalo. We lived back there a minute of my life before they figured they made a mistake and moved back to CA. Family was always in Buffalo. We visited often. My father was a huge Bills fan. I think he instilled that upon me...somehow. Maybe it was a way to be different out here in CA. Anyway, been a fan since the mid-70's, Somehow I talked my daughter into going to college in WNY, so I still get to go back often...and even catch a game each year. It's a Buffalove thing...it's tough to overcome.
  19. We still have the combine to look forward to. Maybe someone's stock will rise and another fall. It happens dang near every year. If the right QB falls far enough, Bills may get lucky. Any up to spreading any rumors?
  20. I get it, I kind of feel the same way too. We're not going to trade up to get either Darnold / Rosen (anyone else is a crap shoot). If they do move up, how much will they have to give up? Since we will have have holes to fill, I like having all the early picks we've accumulated. We've had a glaring hole since Kelly retired though. For the life of me, I'm not sold on Mayfield. I'm not sure why. Oh well...all we can do is sit on the sidelines and discuss for the next (nearly) three months.
  21. This little beaut recently sold for a reasonable price. Right down the road from Charles Schulz' ice arena (Snoopy's Home Ice) https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/137-Anacapa-Dr_Santa-Rosa_CA_95403_M17292-77164
  22. We need more Bills fans here in Sonoma...If your favorite winery isn't here, there are over 400 to sample from to find your new favorite
  23. I've never been an anti-Tyrod guy. I know he's not our future. He's just not the guy we need, it's been proven time and time again. Unfortunately, we have until March to decide his future with us. I think the only way the Bills are able to trade him is if a Cousins manages to strike a deal with a team before that March date. A team losing out on the Cousins sweepstakes can step up and make an offer. Without that happening, it'll a very low round pick or release.
