  1. Why Texas though? It's not QB school.
  2. a few yes
  3. lol...Japan. Couldn't pick a worse example for your retort to that guy's post.
  4. Manning wouldn't be playing in the SEC until his Junior year. I thought Ewers was going to be lighting it up at OSU...
  5. USFL wasn't bad enough for the gambling addicts??
  6. Browns replaced the guy who said he would never play for them again with the guy who said he would never play for his last team.....then molested dozens of women. Haslam easily the worst owner in the league
  7. As though Browns fans are suddenly down on their team over this…
  8. More experience? Nah---clearly it was the modern baseball. So the Babe had the best training of his time, yet he was still overweight, ate poorly and drank heavily, and, as your citation helpfully points out: many people still saw him as an out of shape slob. Oh, yeah, he also had VD.
  9. 1. You claimed Ruth put up huge HR numbers when they were playing, essentially, with wadded up used teabags wrapped in rubber bands dipped in cow dung. The truth is his number became what they were only after the modern ball came into the game. 2. that pitchers have always doctored the ball is indisputable. still do, or try to. So what? 3. changed his swing? that's not unique. he changed it to just hit homers, which the modern ball now allowed as not before. 4. the number of ball used today is huge per game---a very large % of them are simply rejected by a pitcher without even facing a batter. https://theathletic.com/3325753/2022/05/26/guardians-tigers-baseballs-used/ 5. I don't see how modern training would make Ruth a different athlete. He seemed to have no inclination for it--in fact, famously abused his body with booze.
  10. That's one way to build a roster..
  11. Wait, so Lawrence isn't another Clemson dumbass? I need to think about this for a minute....
  12. I mean he wouldn't be the most mediocre LT they let in so....
  13. If Shannon Sharpe is on you for stumbling your words......
  14. Not really. Even if he shows up, he'll answer what he wants and then at some point this is all over and nothing is done (by Congress anyway--because they can't do anything). The only point of this hearing is to make public all of this stuff in the hopes that it will shame 24 of the other 31 of a fairy shameless group of men (and a handful of women) into telling Snyder he has to go. This is convincing evidence of crying over spilled milk....
  15. let's see what Bruce Smith has to say about this first. Meanwhile, enjoy a single swig of beer as you ogle RJ's under-a-minute fantasy reel....
  16. lol... there's the white flag
  17. Guess Manning figures he’ll make a lot more money at Texas than the NFL, so, why not?
  18. is it a show about trucker caps?
  19. it's worse than that. the rest of his contract is tied up in this:
  20. In his day, Cobb was an excellent hitter. But he never had to play against a Luis Arraez....or a Satchel Paige, for that matter.
  21. Brady threw for 5300+ and 43 TD at 45 last season. Rodgers has thrown for over 4500 once in his career. Plus he is a bit of a choker. 1 SB a million years ago. Manning too has a rough playoff record with 7 one and dones. Brady wins games, particularly in the playoffs.
  22. One more time….He dominated the players he faced. They weren’t the only n or necessarily the best pro baseball players of the era. Pretty simple. A time machine would likely allow us to see a presteroid Bonds hitting 100 HR a season against 1920s MLB pitchers and Ruth struggling to get 30 vs 1990s-2000s pitchers (for instance).
