Do you have a problem with fans standing the entire game?
Mr. WEO replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall

Micah Hyde seeking 2nd opinion on neck injury
Mr. WEO replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wrong. Even the tiniest bit of common sense would tell you that when a team doctor says "everything is fine, get back out there", a player might be wise to get a second opinion. Your post is not cute, but should seem embarrassing to you. -
No runs, no punts, no FGs.

I think enough time has passed for OBJs ACL to finally completely shred for the 3rd and last time. All 32 GMs aren't convinced he would last long on the field.......

don't you people have jobs?

OBJ re-injured his previously torn and repaired ACL. This had a 30% chance of happening within 2 years of repair in a high level athlete in a sport with jumping/pivoting/cutting--6 times the ACL tear rate of healthy controls. Players really want to play in cold weather stadiums in December and January on dead, hard turf? Bermuda grass is the new turf being installed and even its producer says it goes "dormant" in winter, even if heated.

Why I Want to Beat the Phins so bad this week
Mr. WEO replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
The "Tua MVP" talk began as every news outlet reported on his sportsbook odds improved slightly as an MVP winner. Draft Kings has him at +2500 (#10 on their list), Fanduel at +1800. For reference Josh is +425 and the slight favorite over Mahomes. Hardly a groundswell of "MVP talk"....just oddsmakers licking their chops for suckers who got a chubby for Tua after Sunday. -

I still predict 2 more Joe Haden threads

These have no intrinsic value--even as keepsakes. Their only value is in the possibility someone will subsequently pay you for it. It's like meme stock, only without any company behind the stock/item.

Is Christian Benford better than Wallace?

Is Christian Benford better than Wallace?

if he can pay attention to what Kelce is shouting pre-snap to his teammates about his coverage and adjusts, then he is better than Levi Wallace. -

Including the QB, 5 players touched that pass. That was only part of my point--I mentioned it because the only evaluators who matter didn't think he was worth locking up long term and don't seem worried about him entering free agency. That is a statement. That the threads exist is the point. You missed that. Debating the "improved play" of a 5th year 1st round starting player hints that his play has been questionable to this point, does it not? Look, I get it--this is a sore subject for you. You were hyping his every move in the shout box Monday night. But why is his 5th season the one where "he has a lot to prove"? -
Stefanski the latest in a long line of Browns boneheads..

You left out how great it was seeing OJ in town...

Another Ertz thread or is this an Edmunds thread......?

Perhaps the poster's point is that the fact that you started a thread which in part congratulates other posters for coming forward to acknowledge that a 1st round draft picking his 5th year has "played well....so far this season" (Week 2) suggests there is a legitimate opposing view and debate about how good he really is. The fact that the Bills didn't offer him a new contract certainly tells us a lot as well. They paid Tre White after 3 years. Oliver is in his 4th year, probably will get paid. No one debates obviously superior players, nor do they need to start endless threads latching on to anything that might possible convince others a player is a superior player. -
